A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) Filming Locations - Then and Now - Horror's Hallowed Grounds
Ойын-сауық
Horror's Hallowed Grounds: Episode 3 - A Nightmare on Elm Street. Soon after we shot The Texas Chain Saw Massacre episode my life was suddenly turned upside down in a good way by being thrown into making my first feature film, The Black Waters of Echo's Pond. That combined with my business Convention All Stars really taking off pulled my focus away from HHG. Honestly I didn't think I would make another episode. It had been 3 years since TCM but then in 2010 Andrew Kasch said he was making a Nightmare on Elm Street documentary called Never Sleep Again. He asked if I would be interested in doing an episode for a bonus feature on the doc much like we had done on Halloween 25 Years of Terror. We would actually have some real time to do it and not be rushed for a change. Also, since Heather Langenkamp was a producer on the doc she would be willing to appear in the episode too! I was all in. What we produced this time was something I was finally really proud of. We had great special guests and really begun to fine tune our style of solid information with a touch of humor. I never wanted to give the impression we were making fun of the films we were just having a good time with material we loved. SUBSCRIBE → bit.ly/2TAyK0B

Amanda Wyss and Heather Langenkamp still both look amazing today. How is that possible? That's awesome that the actor that played Grady was in it as well as the woman who says The infamous hallway line

Robert Rustler is one of those actors that has so many low key classics under his belt. I've seen him in so many great mainstream and B-movies throughout the 80s and early 90s
Awsome seeing Heather again. Had a huge crush on her when this classic came out. Great work Sean!

The ladies still look amazing, there was certainly some chemistry there with the actress that played Tina,, she's fun.. My favorite episode so far..😁
It's awesome the homeowner embraces the history of the house and doesn't try to keep it from people.
17:00 this room was also used in the original Halloween movie years before Nightmare, when Laurie and her friend were at home. 👆🏽
I knew Robert Rusler's a likable dude from the Never Sleep Again documentary but the bits here and in the HHG episodes on Halloweens 2 and 3 made me appreciate it even more. He also seems to be a very funny guy. Also, I lost it when Marshall Bell stepped into frame. HHG is amazing!

Robert Rustler is great in "Weird Science" and "Sometimes They Come Back" as well.
I'm pushing all most 50 year's old I remember all of these Films from the late 70s and the 80s U really do a good job with showing us all Film locations b t w my favorite Nightmare movie is Nightmare on Elm Street 2 "You got the body I got the brain" The lead actor Mark Patton he must have Screamed 25 times in Nightmare on Elm Street 2 Freddy's Revenge ,it's got to be a all time record for one man Screaming 😱 that much in one Film Lol
The homeowner is so cool and welcoming. I love that she brought back the original colors.

Amazing job to make this trip with the actors of movies for us fans of Nightmare on Elm Street
This was awesome to watch. The actors were terrific for helping you with this. The homeowner also very nice to let you both in. It's a shame someone stole the numbers off her home though. Very cool location video dude.

It's interesting to walk around those parts where A Nightmare on Elm Street was filmed, especially with the movie's protagonists. On the other hand, Amanda, and Heather have aged well over the years, they both are ageless beauty. Don't you think?
Heather still looks beautiful today as she did when I was a young kid in the late 1980's watching NMOES on VHS and TV.
Both Ladies from the movie are still gorgeous! I was 17 when this movie hit the out door twin by us in Franklin Wisconsin. Then 1986 I graduated and climb on an airliner to Camp Pendleton for 13 weeks, then AIT FOR ANOTHER 4. I don't remember seeing movies for 6 years I came home in 1991.
These are sooooo cool!!!!
I have watched this entire series in one sitting after stumbling in here this afternoon. I wish this series has been picked-up by someone. Your care to details, and bringing in the actors, and the homeowners is awesome. Thanks for doing this!!
Always to see these actors most of us have never seen make guest appearances or at least very few. Enjoy those "oh, it's that person!" reactions.
Nice to finally see the house how it looks inside to this day 👍
This is amazing. A Nightmare On Elm St is my all time favorite horror movie since I was a little kid.
That boiler room is so fucking creepy!
Still think this is the best match up movie ever well done
Thanks Sean! Love these videos!
Absolutely wonderful! Thank you for this.
This is just amazing. So good. Loved watching Heather look back. What a nice homeowner.
This made me so happy. What a great video. Thank you.

I loved this! I enjoy watching the interviews with the home owners, they are so nice, and so tolerant of fans, I'm not sure how I'd feel about somebody hanging around outside my house taking pictures all the time. Thanks for the upload!

One of your videos randomly popped up in my feed today and I’m glad it did. Liked & subscribed. 👍🏻 Enjoyed your collaboration with Adam the Woo on the Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure video too.
Heather was there more recently then that. She did an Entertainment tonight or something with Robert Englund for the 30th anniversary in 2014 I believe
Always a great watch Sean! You and the crew did such a fantastic job on the production as always. That Robert Rusler & Marshall Bell bit is a genius added bonus & never fails to make me laugh!!!🤣👍🏻 I always wondered why there was a funeral for Rod & not Tina.🤷🏼
The homeowner is a lovely person!
