Research shows that the best way to learn a language is to have authentic experiences with it with Comprehensible Input.
Rather than boring grammar lessons, we provide free interesting listening experiences for learners of Spanish. By listening to our stories, culture explanations and games, you will get used to real Spanish as it's used in context, and develop a native-like intuition for the grammar and the vocabulary, together with a clear pronunciation. The videos try to be easy enough for a complete beginner to start picking up the language.
Comprehensible Input means that the videos try to use basic Spanish as much as possible and be easy enough for a complete beginner in the language to get the gist of the story and start picking up vocabulary. That way you'll get that i+1 necessary to make fast progress in the language.

Things I use to record my videos that I recommend:
- Overhead camera: amzn.to/2Cim95k
- Front camera: amzn.to/2yvW5CB
- Whiteboard marker (the BEST I found after trying many, even other models by BIC were not as good as this one): amzn.to/2C6k3c6

Hi Pablo enjoyed the video👍🏻 I was wondering if you have any recommendations for good beginner/lower intermediate level comprehensible input content in Chinese?

  • @tonychen4589

Hola Francis, "comprehensible input" method hasn't been adopted by most Chinese teachers yet. So far there's one channel "学中文Free To Learn" who's done a little with CI. You can check it out. I might start to make some "super beginner" & "beginner" videos in Chinese myself. I'll let you know when they are out.

You should check out "Bumpy Chinese". Her latest videos are mostly CI. I watch them without looking at the word list on the side. Other than that, I watch a lot of Peppa Pig first and 小丸子 after that. There are many episodes on KZread.

Also through reading books, and watching videos in the target language. For a deaf person, I think it would be more about the written form of the language. As someone who isn’t deaf, I don’t know how successful lip reading is.
