It has taken years to gain some perspective on my PTSD. The fog still lingers and will likely be a part of me forever. This condition affects my family, friends, career, society, and myself.

"Still eight syllables, but we've added a hyphen! And the pain is completely buried under jargon. "Post-traumatic stress disorder." I'll bet you if we'd have still been calling it shell shock, some of those Vietnam veterans might have gotten the attention they needed at the time. I'll bet you that." - George Carlin

Take advantage of the VA and make sure they not only compensate you, but take full advantage of the mental health services. If the government wants to send us to combat areas, then we need to assure they pay us for the rest of our lives for it, I’m pretty sure we and our families earned it.

It’s not good for a vet to be left behind like this. I blame HOAs, high rent and sneaky mortgage practices from Selene Financial LLP for doing more damage to the family’s mental health. You can’t ask a vet to pay those outrageous fees.

God loves you and takes care of you so that this message reaches you. God is the one who created this great universe and has complete control over it. And the greatest loss that a person loses in this life is that he lives while he does not know God who created him, knowing the Messenger of Muhammad, the last of the messengers, and the Islamic religion, the last of the heavenly religions. The great intelligence, before you believe in something or not, is to read it, study it, and understand it well, and then you have the choice to believe in it or not. I advise you on this now before you do not have time to do that.

I don't think you understand how PTSD works because you never join and seen things other Veterans have seen or been through. Mental health in this country has a backlog of people trying to get help or people who need help won't get help. So PTSD happens to everyone not just Veterans.
