CBS would be crazy to cancel Blue Bloods. It’s one of the best shows on the air if not THE best!

Agreed. Needs to keep going. One of the BEST shows on TV hands down. A gentleman and class act all around. TV royalty with him.

Selleck is a class act in a business where that is very rare.

And we'd love to see you keep working Tom Selleck.

He is a first class professional and a damn fine individual. While I do not know him personally he is one of those individuals whose character and integrity come thru no matter what part he is playing. Rare breed.

Tom Selleck is a national treasure, and Blue Bloods is the only show left on tv worth watching. You do this, CBS, and we are going to make sure you feel the pain of such a cowardly decision.

Fans of the post-apocalyptic CBS drama Jericho bombarded CBS headquarters with shipments of peanuts until the network agreed to make a second season. (One of the final lines of the season one finale was "Nuts!")

Mr. Selleck will always be the gorgeous, loveable Thomas Magnum to my (then) teenage heart.......

Damn, Magnum PI is almost 80 years old. Jeez, Im getting up there as well! Ugh. I was a big fan of the Magnum back in the early 1980's. All of us baby boomers are in the fourth quarter of our lives. Where did the time go?!

The fans want the show to be renewed!!!!

Blue bloods is so good why cancel a great show. He's 79 and still has a strong work ethic how great. Do you hear that our lazy younger generation?

@@isobellickes8543 My Mom who passed 2 years ago loved BB..........I would never watch it with her due to being a real cop for 24 years....I feel a little guilty about that, but not too much...whenever I was with her I would always watch other shows with her in the evening, just not BB due to it being another bogus police show.....Love You Mom...

Save Blue Bloods

My 9th grade social studies teacher on Oahu was one of his stuntmen on Magnum. What a trip.

Im 55 and Blue bloods is the only network show that I watch. I love to watch these characters act and their not making anymore Tom Shelleck's so enjoy season 14.

Became a fan when he first stared in Magnum PI.been one ever since. great actor, level headed and humble. like everyone else on this pageI hope CBS wakes up and keeps Blue Bloods going . been a fan of that since its start still the one program we look forward to each week and watch the re-runs Ad- nauseum! WAKE UP CBS!! YOU'RE SCREWING IT UP!!ECF

I dont want Blue Bloods to end......it is my very favorite show and would truly break my heart. I love the whole cast they are like family to me😢😢😢

People really seem to love Blue Bloods, when what we’re really talking about, is the iconic Tom Selleck, and how he has been in his business for so long, and what he has felt, in his years, as an actor.

I worked in Wardrobe on a tv movie in 1978 titled "The Gypsy Warriors", with Tom and James Whitmore Jr. Tom was a delight to be around. I remember he and several cast and crew members talking and laughing about that new comic they saw on tv recently named Steve Martin. Just as Tom did I hear Steve Martin went on to have a successful career too! 😂

Still love watching Magnum P.I. 1980 to present.

These tv executives think they know what the viewers want to watch , but they don't know crap. This is the best show on television .

Oh, Mr. Selleck, you are definitely **enough.** What ISN'T "enough" is Blue Bloods!!! Listen up, CBS - ** WE NEED MORE BLUE BLOODS!!!** That is, and has been for 14 years, my favorite show. The wholesome goodness of a family of civil service workers against the violence they all see everyday... there's just no "replacement" for Blue Bloods.

I was one of the many (millions) of drooling women who took one look at the dimples, smile & mustache & was smitten, I’m still one of the millions who appreciate “the work” he’s done over many years. Can’t imagine why CBS wants to shoot themselves in the foot by cancelling, because it’s the rare show that has beloved characters, wonderful & topical writing & a talent crew that pulls it off!

I loved Tom in Magnum and the whole cast. He chose a full time gig and it was filmed in Hawaii! He chose wisely! Blue Bloods is a great show too...

I met Tom in 1984 at a Beach Volleyball Tournament on Oahu, Hawaii. Best time of my life!

Tom Selleck and the whole cast are wonderful and Blue Bloods if it’s coming to the end, I will miss it. I always watch the old episodes all the time I enjoy it and all the other new episodes every Friday night is always nice to watch it all the time.

I am a “late bloomer “ my friend told me about it and …OMG, I’m now hooked on “Blue Bloods” I watch the reruns on ION TV every Wednesday..I absolutely luv that show! Well written, phenomenal actors playing exceptional characters! I enjoy having Sunday dinner with the Reagans (on Wednesdays) every week. I grew up having Sunday dinners at 1-2 in the afternoon. The only and best Magnum PI..."Did You See The Sunrise " was one of the best and poignant magnum episodes

Great segment! Enjoyed the clips from days gone by. The Frank Sinatra guest appearance in Magnum, PI had been long forgotten, but amazing. Hope that CBS Programming wakes up!

Tom is a legend. He’s had a long and amazing career. Even at 79, he looks great and looks to be in good health.

Selleck is one of few the Hollywood actors that knows to keep his mouth shut regarding social issues. He may be the most liberal guy in town, or he may be ultra conservative. Either way, because he doesn't run off at the mouth, his popularity has spanned a very long and interesting career. Love watching him "at work". Always makes me believe the character is real.

I lived in Waikiki in 1987.....I was at a stop light at around 7PM at night in Waikiki and noticed that a white Porsche had pulled up net to me.....I looked to my left and noticed Tom looking right at me....Tom then pulled into the parking lot of Nicks Fish Market that was a joint he was known to eat at....one of my few contacts so to speak with a famous person....

I’m a big Tom Selleck fan, I want to get his book. Don’t forget his character on the Rockford Files, Lance White, “Don’t worry Jim, it’s just a flesh wound.”

Lance White (who a reincarnation of sorts of Waco Williams from Maverick) is my all-time favorite PI. Everybody knows a Lance White or two. Not a clue about how the world works, but good things keep dropping in their lap. It would be easy to overplay a character like that, but Selleck really nailed it.

​Good call. 'The Saga of Waco Williams' was one of my favorite Maverick episodes. Very similar character to Lance White on Rockford. James Garner was probably my favorite actor on television. Selleck a close runner-up.

I was a huge Magnum PI fan as a kid & even joined the Tom Selleck fan club for a time. Love Blue Bloods and hope it continues. Got his book for my birthday Tuesday & look forward to reading it. He’s a great actor & looking forward to whatever he does.

I'm a little surprised you didn't mention his recurrent role as the fallible Jesse Stone. He brought a lot of vulnerability to that role, especially when contrasted with his totally convincing portrayal of General Dwight D. Eisenhower

Magnum Pi is my favorite show, I could binge watch it weeks on end. I’m still mad that the Robins Nest estate got torn down!!! It was a historic property even b4 magnum Pi was filmed on it. Thanks alot Ex President Obama

No way CBS lets this show go. Still a top rated show, wins its time slot and all the stars still want to do it. It will be back!!

The work ethic is strong in our older population. Love that Tom is still among those pushing ahead. But a bit disheartening that he feels after his long work history, if he wants to continue living on his ranch he must continue to work.

This is my favorite tv show. Its a modern day “Andy Griffith Show”, which is my second favorite show. Great moral compass, strong family bond, and great story telling.

"Blue Bloods" always reminded me of my family growing up and the conversations we had together at the dinner table. That segment of the show always felt like HOME to me. One of the best lines I recall from several seasons ago was when Commissioner Reagan was speaking to a mobster in the hospital. The mobster wasn't at all liking or respecting Mr. Selleck's character and gruffly said something like, "I don't have anything more to say to you, Reagan!" And the response was, "Oh, come on; call me by my first name - Commissioner!" I laughed so much I missed the next couple lines of conversation. The stories, the characters, the HEART of the show is always appreciated.

I’m currently going through magnum pi as never watched all episodes Still entertaining to watch But as a 50 year old who watched it as a kid It’s sad knowing he’s 79 Higgins n TC are no longer with us. He’s always came across as sincere as Magnum And my 3 kids love his fourth wall smiles

BlueBloods is the only drama series on regular TV worth watching anymore. Great characters and those shots of Manhatten are brilliant. Selleck is a legend as Francis Reagan, NYC PC. With that Theodore Rooseveltian stache.

Read a bit of your memoir in airport bookstore. Great anecdotes and memories. A good buy!

I just noticed why Frank Reagan is rarely seen moving in the show. He is typically seen sitting. His broken foot took it's toil.

CBS is nuts to let that show go.

As a blue collar 63 year old guy I always liked Tom. He seems genuine.
