I agree, but this was a 6-minute segment, and Mr. Sellek has a lot of interesting experiences. It just dawned on me. 3 interviewers cannot effectively do their job in 6 minutes. CBS should have given Mr. Sellek a longer segment with the 3 interviewers or kept the 6-minute segment with 1 interviewer. This interview did a disservice to Mr. Sellek, the interviewers, CBS News reputation, and the viewer.

He reminds me of my Dad who is no longer living but the qualities Tom has like strength, steadiness, humility, and kindness certainly gives me that Dad-like feeling.

When i moved to the US in 1991, Magnum PI, Hawai five O, were the two reruns I regularly watched and enjoyed. I simply loved Tom Selleck and the show. Even after decades later, the show does not feel outdated and he has such a wonderful persona, acting skill, charm , endearing oersonality, made the show immortal along with the rest of the team and story line. I wish CBS had given him a longer segment for this interview, given his long, successful career and many more hits after Magnum PI, especially after his current show is also by CBS. They hardly gave any time to discuss anything significant. Such a disservice to Tom Selleck.

Could you let him answer?

What the heck were all three of the presenters talking over each other and Mr. Selleck? Really annoying and another reason why watching those daytime chat shows is a complete waste of time.

I watch Tom Selleck when play Magnum Pi original 1980-1988 with great cast I was fan age 8 old until end series, movies, tv movies and Blue Bloods 2010 ,presented CBS make big mistake canceled show. CBS show poor leaderships ceo George Cheeks and president Amy Reinbached should be fired.

Really? Besides Magnum (which was a massive hit), he had some good movies like Three Men and a Baby, Quiqley Down Under, Mr. Baseball, a handful of other solid Western movies along with several other good movies sprinkled throughout his career (during and after Magnum), a great reoccurring role on Friends, a nine movie series called Jesse Stone and then Blue Bloods which has been going for 14 season. Sounds like a pretty good career to me.

Sorry to say, I lost all respect for him when he started doing those.

My mother in law. Was subject to his reverse mortgage ads at least 10x a day. She was in her 80s when in a weak moment she fell for his pretatory ad. She regreated that transaction as she was no longer able to meet the interest payment. When she died 1/2 of her home value was gone in interest charges. Disgusting how he took advantage of her need.
