I fell in love with Steve Martin as a teenager and I used to have his album & I watched Saturday night live hoping he’d be there because he was not always on there at the time I fell head over heels for him….. he’s got an amazing amount of talent and he’s very charismatic to the teeth!❤❤ no one could’ve remade father of the bride and make it a successful movie with a part 2 that was also a resounding hit as well, his movies were all great but those two were the ones I loved the most ❤

And yet cooper wouldn’t let on or even set his attention on “hey, you’re hurting your dog” He kept antagonizing and provoking the woman. He met his match, he’s not a victim. He should have gone to park authorities and let them know the dog was off leash, but instead he started throwing snacks to the dog to make it come to him. If someone did that to your dog, you wouldn’t be happy. He is a busybody, not a hero.

Regarding the story of Christian Cooper and Amy Cooper, the voiceover lady said that by the time the police arrived, Christian and Amy had both left. What Amy said was stupid and ridiculous, but I don't know that the police displayed racial bias or racial discrimination. I do think that Christian's behavior was fine in filming Amy.

The ageism in these comments is embarrassing coming from grown adults. What have you done today besides go to Target and eat Cheetos. Damn proud of these young people who are learning how to negotiate politics. Whatever the outcome, they need your support, guidance, and respect. They're going to outlive you. Your jealousy and judgment is completely counterproductive.

Why didn’t Christian go “Om” when he saw a non violent dog off leash and walk away? Cooper is a busybody. He was recording a stranger and throwing snacks to her dog to make him come to him. Instead of going to the nearest cop and letting him know about a woman having her dog off leash. He is not a victim but rather just met his match. It is scary for any strange man to zero in his attention on a woman, and then try to attract her dog?? Like most men, and especially gaymen, he thinks he’s entitled to put himself in a position of authority when it comes to any woman. I assure you had it been a man, especially one bigger than him, he would have looked the other way.

Can't believe I watched the part about the bird watcher! He should have been arrested for the stress he put that woman under. Alone in the deep woods of Central Park with a man who was a stranger to her who is being in-your-face and very intimidating to a woman in how he spoke to her and in how he continued to video her while it was clear that she was so stressed and frightened it was palpable. She nearly had a mental and physical breakdown. And, she lost her job because of a situation that could so easily have been avoided. Her dog was well trained and she was alone (she thought) in the woods and took her dog off leash for brief moment. Her dog was never a threat to this man. But, there's always the Race card to pull out when common decency fails to step in. But, way to get clicks in combining it with a Steve Martin interview which was milked for all it was worth.

Wow. If she was so concerned for her safety why didn’t she walk away? I would have. Instead she made false claims. It looked like she was strangling her dog the way she held it instead of the more normal putting the leash back on the dog’s collar so she didn’t have to strangle it. Could he have handled it differently? Of course, but in the heat of the moment we’ve all stood our ground at times.
