I fought the VA for 10 years. always had to wait 8 months to get an appointment and was in and out within 10-15 minutes. Finally found 2 retired colonels who started their own business helping veterans with VA claims. They're called veteran's guardian out of NC. I actually worked for them as I put in my claim with them as well. i'm at 100%. they will submit a fully developed claim in your behalf. do it for you and your loved ones. check out veterans guardian. tell them Adam sent you

It's sad that it took the suicide of an officer for them to actually care.

Depression, PTSD can't be ignore. Unfortunately approximately 22 veterans take their own life everyday because of PTSD and depression. Marines never leaving another Marines behind. We work as a team, it is brotherhood and sisterhood. Our veterans deserve every respect and better care. I encourage all of you if you think you may have PTSD, aniexty and depression. Don't bed afraid to speak up, we care about you, we will be there for you when you need us. Remember when you walk through the storm, hold your head up high and don't be afraid of the dark. At the end of the storm, is a golden sky. One step and one day at a time, never quit or give up.

Rank, age, nationality, doesnt matter. I dealt with two attempted suicides in the Marines as an NCO and its not pretty. Even after Marines leave active duty they continue struggling. Unfortunately, it will take more lives lost to fix this problem.
