I actually used these on hiking trips. MREs are really filling for being such small packs. The food is actually pretty good too, even if a little off putting at first

You get barbeque sauce now? When I was in, you either got cheese or peanut butter and Tabasco Sauce. Only POGs would have time to use the heater, lol

They should include a laxative pill in there. My training officer in OEM warned me about MREs. As a former soldier, he told me "If you eat those things too often, you won't s**t for a week!" I guess the key is to stay hydrated.

Toss them Charms! NOW!!! Also you can put your cheese spread in with the meal cooking so you can have molten cheese dumped into your pouch. Jalapeño cheddar with jambalaya is my favorite.
