I am from a Eastern European country and I have watched both versions of the film: the Swedish one and the American one. They are the same and at the same time quite different. But both wonderful! I laughed and I cried. Now I want to read the book! Really looking forward to it in fact. P.S. I really loved Mariana Treviño in this movie! She so lovely! Even rewatch her scenes!

I am from India. I never cried while watching a Hollywood movie in my lifetime. This movie did. I don't have words to praise this movie. I have been a fan of Tom since Forest Gump. He proved himself again. May Allah, bless the whole cast and crew, and Tom in particular.

I have not as yet seen the movie. However, I know as well as I know my own heartbeat, Mr. Tom Hanks does nothing halfway, half heartedly, or poorly. He and his wife are the best of humanity, and that is nearly impossible to find these days. Thank you all for getting it right. Thanks for being on the planet now, when we humans tend to lose sight of all the good.

I am astonished why No one saw the exquisite,profound and masterly performance Trueman Hanks gave as Young Otto....deeply moving,poignantly revealing....deeply moving...Bravo
