A look inside a microchip
Ғылым және технология
A look at an EPROM microchip under a microscope at 100x ( 0:01 ), 400x ( 0:58 ) and 600x ( 2:43 ) magnification. Some amazing detail becomes visible!

With occulus rift i want to be an electron zipping rough the chip.
I still cant rap my head around how components in a microchip are soldered/assembled, especially in mass production. Its just amazing.
It's from KZread's audio swap, called 'Articulate Silences Part 1' by 'Stars of the Lid' Glad you enjoyed it!

Hiii bro are you there
This was an eeprom, a rather small chip, yet what you see looks like a very, very large city. Now take a look inside one of the first 8086 cpu, and you'll see a whole galaxy. Want to get things even worse? Have a look inside one of the latest core i7 cpus... Now you've got a problem!!!

to my knowledge that was an eprom. An eeprom wouldn't have a window.

I don't think an i7 can be easily examined. even if you use an electron microscope. Also I'm not sure that an electron microscope examine an i7 without damaging it. it's very sensitive. electrons hitting it may cause changes on it. but that's just an idea.

Now add some parallelism and you'll have a whole multiverse.
Absolutely gorgeous.
Awesome video! Thank you for posting this. I've always wondered what a microchip looks like inside!
Alien technology.

Not alien technology but VLSI technology
I most certainly agree, unfortunately I've been very pressed for time lately. I concentrate most of my spare time on my other channel. I will certainly redo this when I get a chance and include commentary but until then you'll have to make do with KZread's music (which I spent hours trawling through to find something appropriate...) Thank you for your kind words!
You're very welcome. Pleased you enjoyed it!
to me this could be some alien technology, dont, and will probably never know how it works
Masterpiece (your video).
Great video, Thanks for sharing.
Great video. Shows the magnitude of Moore's Law quite well.
Thank you nice video. My first time to see microchip. Same look city place.
In this EPROM the two big brown (ish) areas is where data is stored.
Jaw Dropping Wow. Thank You. And Also Very Relaxing Music. The Best.
Great video but I simply have to know where you found that music. It's beautiful!
Thx

Why?
Why KZread recommendations, why
Wouldn't the commentary have been faster than searching for the music? :) Sorry, just couldn't resist that one! Thank you for this very cool video, also your other videos.
What is the music man? Love it. Cool video.

Stars of the Lid :)
w8 what? shouldn't be immersion at that magnification level? or you took in account both oculars and the front lense?
This is how light works inside a circuit very simple and complex at the same time , that's how light works in our body a very very simple and complex
This is just an IPROM, what do you think of the i7 and i9 processor

Or what about a DRAM Chip? Those have trillions of these .
wwwooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow amaziiiiiiiiiiing
This is so beautiful that it's a little sad at the same time.

this video made me so sad...this music is killing me.
alien technology
To be honest, I don't know enough about them to be confident in doing commentary without fear of lying to you. I'm just that sort of person. Good excuse to do some research though!

I respect the beautiful self replicating biological robot I have been gifted with, but the future is no longer the future it is now. We are going from a (biblical) paper program to a (signal) digital program.
if china stops delivering these to the world we all gonna die
Nothing to say
Eita microscópio ruim,,,,
why did you take somebody's video instead of making your own?
who want do it? :O
