i have a 1979 300 with a 14hp kohler theyre great tractors and built very tough! get yourself some v61 tires for the front and ag's for the back.

Nice score bud! The engine shakes like that because the mounts are rubber to keep vibration down but check them one might be worn or cracked. Either way that tractor is very fixable and worth some coin!

Wow.... Nice...!! it's built for a hydraulic three point hitch in the back good for a tiller. The hydraulics in the front are for side to side and down or up for a snowblower or blade. I bought a 314 that was dealer owned for 800.00 nearly in mint condition, loved the hydrostatic transmission for mowing...:-)

Lucien Dube, at 2:24 I believe there's a opening for the output PTO. I know 300 series JD in the 318 and 322 had features for a 3 point hitch. This 300 series has features for a lawn bagging system. My 314 had the power-flow bagging system and it was awesome.!!.:-)

Texas Kidd you have a 314!!! I do too! It's and 83 model and I restored it over the summer. I have videos on it and you can see it on the right of my profile picture. I love the 322 my fav Deere ever made and want to get one sometime

Did a little homework and the JD 318, 322 and 332 had the rear PTO option. 300 series didn't even though there's a cutout for it. You have a nice tractor, I sure miss my 314...:-(

I own a John Deere 300 it's in pieces without motor it's either a 46 or 48 inch deck it has the hood and the side fenders I got aftermarket back tires on it and I do have the original tires for it for the back

Hey man, it's been a while! I was just watching some of the videos that you uploaded of your 210 before you sold it. I'm not counting myself so lucky yet because I'm still missing parts and I have no clue what I'm in for with the transmission leak but it's in very good shape otherwise.

427 Elevating Productions Should be a 16HP Kohler K341 engine.

Trust me, you have a lot more than $60 bucks sitting there in parts. You have hundreds. Yeah I haven't been able to figure out youtube but I finally got it figured out and my phone records in 720p so i've been uploading again too.

Talk about falling in a pile of $h!t and come out smelling like a rose lucky fella

John Morgan that's the x300. Not the classic 300 series. The X300s are junk in my opinion. I have an 83 314 I love

I bought John Deere 1025 with loader , snowblower, mowing deck, and grader blade.

John Morgan is those are nice machines but not for mowing my lawn anyway. I don't need a deck that big and when you drive a heavy tractor like that across the same spot over and over again it can make about 1 in ruts. I found that out with my Massey 1528 that used with the loader.
