A Look At Emirates' LEAST-Served Routes

Ойын-сауық

In a video on our Long Haul channel last year we discussed the fact that Emirates had an impressive NINE A380 flights PER DAY between Dubai and London airports. Without a doubt, it’s the airline’s most-served city-pair. But what about the airlines’ LEAST-served destinations?

“Less frequent and uses smaller planes” Uses the 777, Boeings largest plane in production currently 😂

The 777-200LR is still smaller than the 777-300ER & A380.

The 777-200 LR is the smallest plane emirates currently have if you dont coynt the sole A319 they have fir executive services. Though i think they also use the 777-200LR for that long route to brazil and Argentina partly due to its Long range efficiency

It is understandable why these hubs are underserved by Emirates. Low demand dictates the frequency of services.

You never mentioned the tiny island of Malta 🇲🇹 to Dubai (Via Larnaca). I’ve done this trip for 8 years heading to Sydney Australia 🇦🇺

I did DXB-GIG-EZE round trip in economy. Besides the enormous length, I remember the IFE being pretty old, and the wifi losing connection over much of the Atlantic. This was in 2018, so not sure if any upgrades to the experience have happened since then.

I don’t think you’re able to book Dakar to Conakry or Conakry to Dakar on it’s own

what about Entebbe? Due to competition with Qatar Airways, Ethiopian Airlines, Turkish Airlines and Uganda Airlines, Emirates has lost its frequency on this route, giving other flights to be served by flyDubai, due to lower demand.

DXB to BCN to MEX I thought would be underserved not the South American route.

Who on earth would want to fly to Conakry via Dubai? The faster option would be via Paris CDG.

I dont get the point of this story, you're only reporting on the lowest # of aircraft frequencies. These numbers alone are not meaningful - at least you dont make it meaningful in your story.
