@@lindyandjlo Beautiful pool! Do you guys have a pool sweep? If not, it's like an auto vaccuum that runs while you run the filter overnight. It GREATLY cuts down on having to skim leaves!!

That pool is beautiful!!! The one regret I had in life is that I was never allowed to take swimming classes with the rest of my classmates, so I never learned how to swim. Now I’m hardly able to walk thanks to a botched spinal cord surgery. Enjoy every minute of your life!! Looks amazing! God bless!! 💜💜💜

I am so sorry to hear you had a botched spinal surgery. You might consider asking your doctor to prescribe water therapy. There are physical therapy facilities that offer water PT. To allow patients with mobility issues the ability to exercise and gain strength through low impact movement, in the water. To help build strength and better muscle coordination. With the pool water allowing patients to gain strength without putting unnecessary stress on the body or joints. The pools are heated and shallow, with ramps verses steps. To assist patients that cannot walk or have difficulty walking to enter and exit the therapy pool safely. Like a transport chair or hoist depending on a patient's needs. With the patient's inability to swim usually not a requirement. As the therapist are specially trained to assure water safety. My son did water therapy after brain surgery. To regain better control of his movement. If you have such a PT facility near you. I recommend having a loved one that is a good swimmer to accompany you. So they can learn the skills needed to assist you in other pools outside of therapy. Once you are comfortable, you can find a public pool, like a YMCA or rehabilitation center where you and your care partner(s) can take you to enjoy the recreation experience of being in the water. Taking what you learned in water PT to continue working on your limitations. Like kicking your legs to help build muscle strength to help you in everyday life. With the help of your therapist. You can buy any flotation devices or equipment to assist you in continuing your therapy else where. Or you can find flotation devices needed at most pool suppliers. If you own a home and have the financial means. You could have a in-ground pool specially built, to accommodate your needs. Like a walk-in ramp verses steps and shallow. With a deeper end for others, roped off from the shallow part. If desired to accommodate guest. That will allow you to enjoy the water safely like everyone else. You might consider looking into swimming lessons for people with special needs or physical limitations. Depending on your area and location, you might be surprised what a little research can do. In helping you achieve the goal of enjoying the water. I hope you find this information helpful. Limitations don't define ability. The ability to adapt can overcome limitations. ❤️

@@sarahcrain8083 thank you so much for the information you stated above. I have (Arnold) Chiari Malformation. I was diagnosed at 24 years old. They removed part of my skull in the back of my head and put a piece of mesh in its place so that the spinal fluid could have room to flow and I could walk and sit up straight again. When I turned 39 I found out I developed Syringomyelia, due to the Chiari Malformation decompression surgery not working as expected. I developed 2 syrinx inside my spinal cord. I had surgery to remove a large one and in another area drain the other one. They also thought they sewed closed where they thought the fluid was coming from. A little over a year later I found out an even larger one had started growing again, but this time it was by my respiratory. Therefore surgery isn’t an option. I can only walk about ten feet before my legs become weak and I can’t breathe. They said the only way they would do surgery is if it was life saving. I tried 3 different neurosurgeons. So now I can’t do much of anything physical and I go to a pain management doctor every 2 months which is very hard on me. Thank God for my children. I had to move in with my daughter because she said she doesn’t want to be worried about me. I’m also numb on 85-90% of my body so I have burned my hands to the point of blisters because I didn’t know things were hot in my hand. So I’m banned from the kitchen. 😂 I wish I could strengthen my muscles but all my side effects like my breathing, weakness and severe pain would make it impossible. The deciduous tree beside the pool will continue to drop its leaves into your lovely pool so best to chop it down. The palms will make nice replacements. I had a similar problem with my pool in New Zealand with deciduous trees and conifers near the pool. A professional came and cut them down and used a grinder to dig the roots out without breaking paving and the pool itself. I’m sure you’ll have a great time in the pool.

We use to toss ours in the flower beds with the mulch. It breaks down and helps the plants. You would think that having that size of pool being built they would have supplied you with the basics. Lol. It's a beautiful pool. And you'll get years of enjoyment with your family and friends. We loved having a pool at our old house.

I have only ever watched your shorts where you ambush each other.... it's weird seeing you all be so "normal" lol 😂. There's not a crumbl cookie place anywhere near me 🙄 but that classic sugar cookie looks amazing!

Love it! Ooh you make your salad similar to mine! I usually add thin sliced shallots or whatever onion I have on hand, fresh cilantro with the roots (so much flavor), parsley/dill, sliced 🍐 pear (my fav. Bosc), and/or apple 🍎, dried cranberries or dried cherries, feta cheese, heirloom tomatoes and sometimes English cucumber! I usually make a fresh herb vinaigrette. Oh and some sliced avocado 🥑 and sometimes nitrate free turkey bacon (for everyone else reg. crumbled bacon 🥓)!!! Sometimes I just make it with fewer items or switch up dressings (toasted sesame or spicy peanut)! I call it the "party on a plate salad"! I love food!

I hate to tell you that's not a lot of leaves. There's a channel that goes to our house it comes around the corner halfway down the streets at far drive then Cuts back south a little bit and then continues East and all the leaves pile up against our big metal garage. The guy who works for me build the bed of his truck it's an 8-foot bed and a trailer and had to make three trips with both of them full to the dump with leaves. It's nice that you took her out to lunch.
