This sure can lead to trouble. How dare fathers come and go while leaving child (cub) care to the mother. Retribution for all fathers who are neglectful.

Male lions hunt when they're not part of a pride or if they're nomadic, they also hunt to feed themselves when they're off patrolling for months at a time, the territory is hundreds of square miles, they can't come to dinner every night.

What has the lion king movie got me into! Ever since watching the movie, I can't stop watching random lion clips!!

Mammals..what are you gonna do? I remember me and my brother would wait till my Dad came home when we were like 4 and 5 or so and "attack" him as soon as he walked in the door he would play-wrestle us and he would wind up walking with me on one leg and my brother on the other - he was strong guy :). I think some of us mammals just love to annoy and "fight" their Dads.

1:54 is the bravest cub I've ever seen. It would have grown up to be an amazing lion!
