I used to work on and install resturaunt fire suppression systems, which are very similar to this. A lot of the things I've learned do apply to PCs. It's funny how you learn the basics of one thing and find out how connected it is to a bunch of other things.

Man, you have come through almost every step of the way with every question I've had thus so far with building my first (modern/water cooled) PC! I kinda got the gist that the two main were the barbed and the compression, and that the compression was better designed to be used on its own, but had no clue what the hell the rest of the shapes and other random pieces were for until this video. THANK YOU!

I know this is an old video, but that is no joke on the "order extra statement," shipping for most watching this is not an issue; but living in Alaska, if you forget or "cut it close and come up short" the additional shipping cost would have paid for 4-5 fittings or a couple sticks of hard tubing. I spent hours looking at the case and laying it out and now that everything has arrived it is time to begin. Thanks Jay...I've spent 3 weeks watching your videos and although I have built air-cooled up until this point, it's time for my hand at liquid.

This really helped my understanding in how fittings are used. Im kind of new to watercooling and this series are really easy and helpful. Thanks for your upload! Next i would like to see different ways to CPU cooling since you already covered the GPU part. What to think about when choosing coolingblocks and what to pick, copperplate or other? Go through what you think is important when liquidcooling your CPU. What temps to aim for and different attachments for the block. How to best avoid leaks and so on. Give us the Grand Tour. Nice Video as always Jay. I wish he would do one on all the new pumps/res combos. I did some research for any interested. A Laing D-5 is anywhere from 350-1400 LPH- 4M head depending on brand 50,000MTBF and quiet. A DDC is 500LPH and 7 to 20FT head and a lil louder and runs a lil hot has a 50,000MTBF A new design XSPC -X4 Pump is 600LPH and 3M head and the cheapest, at 35.00 bare. No MTBF spec. The new Enermax pump is 900LPH and 5.2M head 100,000 MTBF and the 2nd least expensive. Guess what I bought?
