Well, traditional if you happen to play Peruvian pan pipes in your locality. Are Peruvian pan pipes now considered traditional in Ireland? I think you just had someone selecting the music for this feature who had no real interest in their job.

“As Daddy would say, ‘Get good first then get quick’” Wise words…I learned that back in the 70’s when I got a job assembling aircraft engines. A fella who hired on with me got quick first, but he never got good because he got fired. I got good first and then I got quick. I got so I could do it without thinking, and then I quit, because I got bored, but it was a very rewarding experience to be really good at something and get paid for it.

I recall way back in time, one of the neighbors had the thrasher around, several local men came to help, the oldest man would have been about 75 was complaining of a very toot ack, he had been into town the day before but forgot to visit the dentist, when the trashing work was completed he asked one of the other men would he pull his bad back tooth with pliers, the old man asked a few of the men including my very young self to hold him firm on the floor of an empty house car whilst the tooth was been wrestled from his jaw bone, it was bad butchery, the old man struggled and splitter but he did not cry out in pain, I have never recovered from this wild happening
