A Distant Voice - Preview Clip (FNaF Fan-Animation)

Short excerpt from my next Five Nights at Freddy's Fan-Animation, which I'm hoping to have ready to release around Halloween. This one will take place during FNaF2, and will be approximately four minutes in length. It's a mostly POV animation with the occasional cutaway, like the one I did for FNaF4 previously.

The camera lighting up the room is an amazing detail.

That was born out of the decision to have the cameras be on a TV monitor on the desk instead of a full-screen overlay. In FNaF2, because the cameras are full-screen you're never looking down the hallway and turning on the camera lights at the same time. But I think this makes for a neat way to get a feel for the geography of the place, by getting some visual feedback for where each camera is positioned.

Very excited for what you manage to cook up about this game. FNaF 2 definitely had one of the best concepts and sets of character designs in the franchise even now. And my favorite fox pays a visit too, which is exciting! The effects and shot composition are as great as always too.

Mangle in particular has proven very fun to animate. I usually try to keep my animations kind of restrained when it comes to that FNaF wackiness, but here we have a straight-up crazy spider monster with two heads, leading to a dropping of all pretense which I've found very liberating.
