Hi Mike, Good to hear from you. I really appreciate your big generosity. It goes a very long way to helping out the channel. I'll give you my usual shout-out in an upcoming blacksmithing video. Have a Merry Christmas my friend. Glen 😬

@@gstongs It's my pleasure Glen, Merry Christmas brother.
Different ideas on common methods is the primary reason I love being a channel sponsor(almost 3yrs now). The small donation I give does not equal the fun and new ways of playing with the steel I learn from your videos. Thanks G, Happy Holidays to you and Mrs. S.

I normally don't like twists on tong handles but since this is "smoother" I think it works. Plus being a wine tong and not a forging tong also makes a difference. Thanks for everything Steve and have a Happy New Year.

Nothing overly fancy but it works. Have a Happy New Year Robert and thanks for all your support.
Really liked twist, almost like a knurled surface which helps you hold on with better grip!

Yes, it adds some grip but still feel comfortable. Some twists on handles can make using the tong or other tool uncomfortable. Thanks.
Great looking twist and tongs. Yer the master!!

You support is appreciated. Thanks.
Interesting twist. I like to use a rope twist on round bar, makes a comfortable grip, and looks nice. Never considered doing decorative twists on tongs!

I prefer to stay away from decorative twists on tongs unless it's something like this wine tong. But a rope twist is a good idea; is definitely comfortable to grip. Thanks.
Clean as usual

For decorative twists on tongs, I usually prefer something more subtle and with a "smoother" feel. Thanks.
I just stumbled across your videos and I love them don’t have a lot of means at the present time but would love to best I can offer right now is a thank you for your videos you take time and are clear with what are doing and it is awesome for me to watch and learn it has been great since I just started learning so thank you ps I’m going to get one of your side angle tongs as soon as I can bc I just think they are a neat tong and I love you attention to detail

It came out better than I thought. You have to alter rounds in some way to make any twist possible. Thanks for watching.
That laugh cracks me up every time. Nice Port Tongs brother. Definitely an interesting twist. Seems well received as well. Blessings abundant my friend Crawford out 🙏🏻🔥⚒️🧙🏼♂️

I really like this handle idea, I wonder what it would be like on forging reins

Good question. I typically don't like to put any twists on forging tong handles as that can make the tongs feel awkward, to me at least. But if it's a "smoother" twist like, it can work. Thanks.

@@gstongs I don't like much texture ...I can't abide rebar handles, that stuffs evil on your hands but the interupted twist on these seems to offer some extra grip without making harsh high spots, I wonder?
Nice tongs! 🔥🔥🔥👍🏻🎅🏻🇫🇮🇫🇮🇫🇮
