A Deeper Look at The Lakers Mavericks Sh$% Shpw

Спорт

The Clutchless King
I was gonna take some time off but many of you asked me to do this game specifically, so here it is. This video is an overview before I break down the entire game (see playlist here).
• Mavericks Lakers 1-12-...
The shooting stats, as horrific as they are, only tell part of the story. My 6 part video analysis of the entire game shows horrendous calls being made in the Lakers' favor, an onslaught of uncalled, offensive fouls committed by LeBron James, a questionable choice of lineup, ghastly shot selections from LeBron James, pathetic defense, and of course, a slurry of him quitting and pouting.
And while some players in the league get technicals for shrugging their shoulders LeBron can carry on such as shown in the still frame of this video cover without any concern of ever being T'd up.

@@cycleoflife565 I've noticed they always point to his major highlights. The 10 finals appearances. Any buzzer beaters. 2016 vs the Warriors. Passing Kareem. If you look at his career overall those are the main 4 points they always go to. And they ignore everything else like his career FG% outside of 8 feet which is 37%, Jason Terry and the 2011 finals, Ray Allen bailing him out vs the Spurs, the 4-6 finals record. The missing the playoffs with 3 other hall of famers on his team. Getting swept. The flopping. Most turnovers all time. The fake injuries that get mentioned when he loses but never when he wins. The media simps who make every excuse for him. Hopping around the league stacking super teams. His atrocious defense. If you take all the positives from his career and weigh them vs the negatives it's obvious there are way more negatives. That's why many of us real fans know he is not the goat and has never been close to being the goat. And when ya compare him to Jordan, Kareem, Kobe, etc those players have way less weaknesses in their game and far less black marks on their career that stand out. And his fans definitely do not watch him play. Because as soon as someone points out a major flaw or really bad play they ignore it and revert back to one of those 4 major positives in his career.

They watch but they just passively receive the information. Whatever the TV says to think, that's what they think. Information that conflicts with the opinion they are supposed to have, is not even discarded - It is prevented from entering their minds at all. Only if someone were to be standing next to them pointing everything out in real time and mocking it, would they be able to see it. But once you are gone, they will go right back to believing whatever the TV says. You literally have to counter years of repetitive brainwashing with repetition of your own.

Lmao @ that rare offensive rebound that fell into Bettis's lap at the end of the game. Fun Fact: Lebron has played in 327 more games than Michael Jordan, and STILL hasn't surpassed him in career offensive rebounds. You know, the rebounds that actually require effort instead of standing around waiting for uncontested defensive boards to fall right into your hands. I wonder if anyone in the media would ever point this out... I doubt it

That shot chart is the perfect representation of Lebron's career. He's shot 37% outside of 8 feet for his entire time in the NBA. That pic of Bron next to Simmons is interesting. Simmons is slightly in front of him. And if ya look closely Simmons is slightly taller. Ben is 6'10. So Id say it's safe to say Lebron is 6'9. I've seen some of his fans trying to now say he's only 6'7. They're trying to reduce the man's height to prop him up 😂For a 6'9 250 lb+ guy he sure does fall down a LOT.

Even if that were true, nobody should feel sympathy for them because LAL has historically gotten bailed out by the ref$ more than any team ever; and with Lebron specifically, any foul against him that's uncalled is almost completely offset by all the blatant offensive fouls he gets away with when he's bulldozing to the basket

Lebron making most of his shots at the rim is even more signifcant because in today's game, Lebron more often has a clear path to the basket with the defensive three second rule and the defense being more spaced out. In Jordan's era, the lane was clogged, meaning Lebron would have to shoot more jumpers in the 90s, something he struggles with. He really wouldn't be the same player. Lebron actualy played one season in the handcheck era, his rookie year, and he shot 41.7%. Lebron fans will counter with zones make it tougher. ESPN used a tracker and found that zones are only used on 2%-4% of all plays. And it's NOT even a tru zone with the defensive three seconds calls giving him a free path to the basket. And I haven't even mentioned the lack of handchecking/physicality, extra gather steps

You were being very nice in this video. I mean charitably polite. “Maybe if he got robbed he could quit to complain” Kobe or Jordan (players I’m not fans of as I typically were pulling for other teams) wouldn’t leave their team short on Defense especially Jordan older Kobe not as air tight but fantastic on effort. They would have to get knocked of their feet, and it took illegal (in football) football maneuvers to knock MJ off his feet, and Kobe sure didn’t get knocked down by light breeze like Lebron.

...and LeBee clearly traveled before the last failed 3P shot you showed in the video. Now Westbrook is considered the reason why they lost to the Sixers yesterday. Clock running down, two players strongly defended, while Schroder and LeBee were standing far from the paint. Their bodies were in no alert position to catch the ball and shoot fastly with a minimum chance of success. Then LeBee leaves the court annoyed with Russ failed clutch attempt - which was a blatant foul by Embiid. Minor compensation for the thousands of LeBron's fouls that go uncalled...

Shooter he begs for dont get to shoot unless they get a late pass from lebron who cant dribble past anyone, big men have to become stretch players just extra people on the floor to try to make lebron look good! And when he fails everyone else gets the blame!!! I said on another vlog that if lebron does not retire this summer i will not be watching any basketball next season and i truly mean that! So why is it that Lebron is such a fan of the #6? Let me guess, he's hoping to have it retired in 3 different cities!

august 11 2022 nba permanently retire number 6 for ALL teams, nobody else can wear it so LeBron wore 23 for Jordan then to make sure everybody sees how great he is he also wore number 6 for Russell maybe hell wear 24 so people think hes Kobe or 33 so people get confused hes Kareem or 32 so people think hes Magic reincarnated seriously, the guy should just pick his own number instead of copying the real greats

Thanks for reviewing this game. I am amused and appalled that LeBron is worse than I thought. 9I usually wont bother watching his games, because in-entertaining. So was unaware of his shenanigans. But seeing this video shocked me by showing me how PATHETIC LeBron really is. His forced shots and pathetic face first fumbling stumbles are below D grade performance. His lay up attempts were so amateur. And this is their alleged KING??

If Jordan wasn't shooting well, he still made a difference in other aspects of the game. You can't say that about Lebron...

That is absurd that Lebron has only made 19 of 107 shots in the clutch. It’s also crazy on how many air balls Lebron has shot in his career. I mean he got more time then anyone else to work on his game while playing in the NBA

I have a question. I'm in no way a lesucks fan. Has he always only got his points from 5 feet? As soon as curry started to shine. This guy starts constantly shooting threes as if to say oh I can do that to. No you can't lebrick city. He wants his dam respect? He gets his unworthy respect by teams still willing to pay this clown to "leplay" It will be a celebration when this guy retires.

He is an average 3 point shooter, average foul shooter, well below average midrange shooter, and above average finisher at the rim. So, to answer your question, yes he always gets most of his points from right around the rim or the foul line (from flopping or bully ball).

A great player w/ confidence in his body of work would let that work speak for itself. LeBron intelligently realizes he can’t afford that… but has to massage, spin, self promote, podcast, pressure, complain, and lobby endlessly to be considered anywhere near the greatest.

The fans love Rudolph bc they're smart. There was nothing flukey about his performance in '23-'24, ie he consistently kept the team on schedule, repeatedly made big time throws into tight/nfl windows, & he has a career 90 QB rating. Even his so called disastrous '19 season blows away anything Kenny Pickett has put on tape, this or last year. Don't believe me? Find a game replay online. Tape doesn't lie. & Finally, like Jack said, Steelers are $17 mil over cap, Sportrac has projected values for Cousins, at $40 mil/yr, Mayfield at $30 mil, Fields is gonna cost draft capital + 5th year option QB money, & I'll pass on another 24 year old, slow processing, noodle armed QB that dropped into 20s in a QB needy league. Pickett ain't it, I don't think it's his fault completely, but bring Mason back at around 12-15 & patch holes in the defense.
