While ironic with his nickname
That’s why he’s the best basketball player in the planet today
Not everyone is trying to get rid of family. Some people love home.
Love how people respond so positively to his humility. Breath of fresh air compared to the normal arrogant athlete

I hate when I don't see emotion for athletes because you know they worl their asses off and then they act like it means nothing when it means everything to them. Don't confuse downplaying yourself for humility my man.

@@ajlegend321How u know he doesn’t work his ass off?
He treats it like a 9-5 and actually does his job. Most other NBA players are just out for themselves while he plays team basketball intelligently.
When people say that the 60s players are plumbers and carpenters, I find it funny that a horse racer like Jokic is playing in the NBA
Jokic is the type of guy that’ll work hard play hard and want nothing more than to be home
I wanna go home 💀

This is the kind of guy you wanna root for. Humble in victory and defeat. Always has his eye on the ultimate team goal rather than individual accolades!
Humble, modest, does his job. I like that.
Convinced he got eliminated last year just so he can go play with his horses right away

True class act right here…no theatrics…no nonsense…kind…and just wants to do what he loves 🏀 Love this guy ❤
Him approaching the Heat players after the win is just class. That's what we are taught in europe. I think at that moment it just didn't sink in, because he looked hella hyped at the parade.
This man is something else
“When Nikola Jokic Shaid”😂
Man he just wants to go home! The work is done, he wants to relax!
hes just humble
He values time with family that's a sign of a good person with morals and values
It's hard to hate a guy like Jokic.
If Jokic wasn’t in the NBA, he’d probably be super introverted. Dude just does his own thing. He just seems like a chill guy.

They said “bro is the guy that hates his job but gives his all to the company” 😂
Dude is absolutely the best...no hype, no harm
This is one of the reasons I love Jokic
This man is playing away games even at "home," I'm sure we can all relate to just wanting to go home.
Well, sports "journalists" talk sh!t about him and are racist towards him so it is no wonder why he would just treat basketball like an ordinary 9-5 job.
His compatriot needs to pay attention. Love this guy.
Jokic just wants to be left alone with his horses 😂
You can hate a player for almost any reason for sounding so indifferent, except wanting to go home and be with his family. Good on you.
I don’t know how people don’t love this guy
There's zero reason this man should catch any hate. He's humble and the best, and that's extremely rare in this league and in all sports, really. I think the talking heads don't like the color of his skin.
Nah but he was emotional on the bench during the game and was really happy to celebrate it with his fam.

People act like he's a robot he's obviously proud of himself and his team he just doesn't feel the need to express that to the world
He is an example of a healthy human being. This world is obsessed with awards and accolades for the smallest of things. Just enjoy what you do and the people around you. Awards only serve to divide people not bring them together.
He is a mature man that keeps things in perspective.
Being humble is a trait in a good man
How did you not include the post game interview clip of him saying “Nobody likes their job. Well maybe some people do. They’re lying.”
He wants an olympic medal more
In fairness he loved the parade, he even apologized to the city at the parade because he was having so much fun
He had a deeper understanding of what's really important in life!
