@@neilkurzman4907 you would realize L&O is often based on true stories, so alot of the writing and scenarios will extrapolate on real events.
This is a separate post about this episode of you are confused on it: so in the beginning a woman ends up getting dumped in the trash factory ( or whatever the hell its called) and they call the detectives in and they take her body to the examiner and she was full of cocanie and heroin. The examiner discovered that she had breast implants. The detectives try to figure out the name which our victims name was Jane Hunt. The surgeon gives the detectives the address and they are on their way. So the detective find out that Jane hunt was actually a famous rockstar under the alias Patty Voytek. Then her agent finds out she’s dead, the agent tells the detectives that she was releasing the album in two weeks after being away from three years due to losing her husband in another band he said that she went to the daylight house to sober up. The detectives again went to the rehab facility where one of the workers told them the don’t force them to stay and she made some progress. She was abused by her father mother died at 14 and her husband offed himself. The detectives still are figuring out what set her off. She went to rains house and she said the last time she saw her she wanted coke and she left. Then they went to mike fosters house and he said there is no way that this is homicide. Then they talked about Shane’s death and Pattys death. Then they went to her father last house and they told him read the “fan” mail. Then grant spews some bs about Shane and all that. Then they go to mike and confront him. Then he tells the guy there is a Travis Jones and he had a diary. The cops grab a gun from mike and they went to travis Jones apartment and confronted him. Then they went to krisis the band ( sorry for the misspelling) and they talked about patty and Shane then Ed got a hit on the gun and the blood is matched with patty’s dna. Then they go to court. Then..... they founded patty’s prints in Jones apartment. Turns out he was the one who killed patty and Shane in the end. I hope this helped y’all!

Briscoe and Green were such great friends. A lot of L&O teams were good partners, but watching this, the way that Green not only keeps up with Briscoe's banter, but gives it right back to him, is miles more intimate than Logan ever was with Brisoce. They snipe each other back and forth like they're at a bar.

In fairness, Logan was there from the beginning, and Briscoe came in later in Season 3. Logan, Curtis, and Green were all great, but I love how Green and Briscoe laugh so much together.
I'm 70 years old. In my life time I have been there a few times when a new man was either killed on thier 1st day, or someone else was killed. In the military & in the oilfield, death can happen in the blink of an eye. It is a freaky thing, to have the man next to you killed. Your mind has seen it, but it takes time to process the information. It often results in overload. I've seen men go into shock, after seeing death and scaryness happen close to them. Later, over beers. Everyone agrees, it is a hell of a thing to happen on someone's 1st day.

A bit unrealistic in this scene. The fact a dead body was found in a commercialized garbage dump post mortem and have the detectives and medical examiner not covering themselves from that *AWFUL* smell of stink...yeah i would say that's a mere disconnect. Good episode, though.

No lie, this was not a favorite. The "twist" ending was spoken aloud/baked into the plot, and although I was never a fan of grunge, I mourned for my fellow genxers who loved Nirvana. I never met any who believed in this crazy conspiracy.. EDIT: Wow, I guess my comment really upset 3 ppl who like to write. @@Night_Owlette_30 I can try to the best of my ability & memory. I think they had already done an episode about Kurt Cobain, implying that Courtney Love had murdered him. This was an irl conspiracy theory that began to swirl after Cobain's tragic suicide.. If they didn't do it, they implied it here. The baked in plot was when the guitarist, (the killer) said that the Kurt-esque guy wrote all his songs on the this one guitar, which we see earlier, he owns. *How?* He complains that the Courtney-esque character broke up the band, (I think) and that she wouldn't let the guitarist have the guitar. Again, not really a twist ending when he's telling this to the DA's while *holding the guitar* bc the 💡 goes off, they confront him, and he confesses. I think it might've been in a diary. Idr.. Basically, it was "The Yoko Factor" on steroids. But the killer is a great actor, and there was a great side plot about a P.I. illegally obtaining evidence. -I *think.* I might have it mixed up with another episode.

@@lesyeuxsansvisage1157 So, your *"thoughts"* are that there is no evidence, but that the non-evidence that you've seen(?) was no GPR and Love, who has been sober for years, trying to orchestrate a hit? You think that "I'm angry" [never wrote that] bc I think of Kurt's daughter having to read garbage like this, from ppl with no facts.. Were. You. There? Can. You. Prove. It? NO. So stfu. Not bc "you're making me mad". Stfu out of common decency for Bean.
