As an old timer watch the next guys trap is a joy. So much has changed in 35 years. See the equipment progression is amazing to me. I hope the future trappers are watching. Can’t wait to see catches. Thanks for taking us along.

Great video 👍 a set I’m gonna recommend is take your trap, dig a bed,put a 2 to 3 inch hole, take your chain put it off to the side, dig a trench hammer in your anchor, cover your chain, put some bait in that spot in the bed, cover it up, bed trap solidly, lure urine and by the time it starts to smell good your scent will be long gone

Great video, this style feeds right into trapping know how. This is my favorite followed closely by fur removal, fleshing and hide treatment and or storage. You are helping to keep something alive that should be kept alive. The guarantee of today's easy life isn't 100%, it wouldn't take much to take the easy life out of play. Thanks for taking us along!

This is the type of video series I've been waiting for. It'll be neat to be able to follow along close enough to have gotten to be right there when the trap is set all the way to checking in the morning. Makes the watcher feel like a part of your trapline.

Enjoy your videos. Can you make a video of how to set the traps step by step, with equipment used and explain what the wax dirt is. I’m interested in learning what your doing with driving that anchor thing in the ground with that rod and then your setting it somehow.

Curious if you numbered the traps, then kept track of the days it has set before a critter happens along in it. So we get an understanding how long one can sit before there’s a catch or a freshen up.
