I went to Culver during the summer of 2018 and it was an experience I will never forget. I was in troop A and I was proud to be a trooper.

@@picsbymrmo nice. It wasn't that bad. Just a little over the top with dumb shit. Overall a good 3 years. Something I don't regret doing but wouldn't do it again.

Valley Forge Military Academy Alumnus. I recognize all of it. What a brilliant experience. Cheers to my brothers in the Long Grey LIne from whichever military school you attended. “For those who understand, no explanation is necessary; for those who don’t understand, no explanation is possible.”

Just so that you all know, those who go to military school aren't all troubled. In fact, most actually go to military school just to strengthen their self-discipline.

Damn. That's definitely quite a schedule and I'm sure people come out of there all the better for it, but my high school homework always took far more than 2hrs... How do y'all get your homework done in that short amount of time? Also, do they offer financial assistance or scholarships for those who would love to attend but may not necessarily have the family financials to pay for it?

Yes, our cadets have a busy life and they do manage to do their studies during CQ. If that time is not enough, they can request additional time to complete their work. And yes, financial assistance is available.

If you are in hard classes you don’t get your homework done in time. It is just called you have to work through that last time before bed. And you can request late lights to stay up and get work done.

No. This video is to show what goes on during a regular school day. Cadets have mostly free time after school on Friday's until Sunday night when they need to get back to studying. They do attend a parade on Sunday around noon on falls and spring (but that does not take longer than 45 minutes).
