i recently started following you bc ive started ice skating and watching you skate is so amazing, u inspire me. im on week one and have been practicing using edges, forward outside 3 turns, and backward swizzles ! i also tried 2 foot spins today and i fell hard bc i keep losing balance, but it was fun. ^^

i’d really love to start ice skating but i’m already 16 and there’s no ice rink near me, the nearest one is an hour away from my house. i really hope I’ll be able to start doing it at some point because it’s always been my dream. thank you for motivating me to think about it and finding a way to actually start!!

I just started skating a year ago at the age of 23! Now I already do jumps and spins… So it’s certainly not too late for you to start skating in near future… In my case, I’m able to start skating cuz I have my own money now after I graduate since not all of us come from family who is able to splurge for expensive sports (but I don’t regret anything tho😊)…

as a figure skater, I don't think people don't skate realize how long 2 weeks are

when i heard dance for me wallis i practically screamed, i made this spotify playlist of songs i want to skate to and recently so many good skaters have been skating to those songs

My coach kept making me do a back corkscrew spin (the spin with your leg behind the other) with my head back and I literally fell back into the boards and my coach couldn’t stop laughing at me 💀 I just stuck to putting my arms up

Hi Rachel! I’m a new subscriber of yours but I’ve watched your soaker-making video a while back. That video inspired me so much since I love DIY. If I may ask, are you going to be a professional figure skater or this would be more like a hobby while working in other field? Cuz I’m really curious how do you balance your life with skating so often on ice. I’m really trying to figure that out too. BTW, how often do you go to the rink?

it’s hard to balance, but i try to skate 4 times a week for 1 to 1 1/2 hours

i weight more than you and can do a sit spin . try working on it off ice thats what really helped me and bending your knee in the entrance! keep practicing and im sure youll be able to do it! goodluckk
