a day in my life at my parents house in Portugal (am I becoming a summer girl?!)

We have swapped glaciers for palm trees - I'm in Portugal visiting my parents! This life truly is the OPPOSITE of mine so I thought I would share a day in my life here in the sun. In this video you also get to meet my older sister Gabrielle! I hope you enjoy this video and change of scenery, thank you so much for being here! We will be back on Svalbard in the next video! ✨☕️

Like the Algarve tourists and expats are really changing the affordability for the locals. It’s a double edged sword really, tourism creates jobs which they lacked before but the influx of people pushes the cost of living SO much higher.

I love your Portugal videos. They are so calming and I love the whole vibe in them. It's also nice to see you in a different environment, even though I also looove Svalbard life. Looking forward to the next Portugal and Svalbard video!:D

Thank YOU, for taking us on your journey to Portugal. The contrast is just beautiful. I live in sunny Queensland, Australia, so share your parents climate...although without those stunning views. I so enjoy listening to you Cecilia, you have a knack of making me feel like a friend sharing your life. Enjoy your return to the two boys in your life 😂

I don't miss snowy Svalbard but am addicted to your adventures with Cristofer and Grim. The Algarve coast is stunning, and I would move there in a heartbeat if I could afford it. Your parents are so fortunate and their home is lovely, and so are you being able to visit such a paradise whenever you want.

Thanks for sharing. It's still different for me and it's great to experience other climates. You may remember, in Sydney we have no twilight so even when we have daylight saving there is no sunlight past 8 pm.
