A Day In Belfast City || Vlog

A day in Belfast City. I wanted to see the 'Game of Thrones Touring Exhibition' in Belfast before it moved on. I managed to get one of the hottest days of the year in Belfast to do so, which was great, but challenging, given all the walking outdoors with my backpack I was doing. I had a great day and hope to go back up again for two nights, so much to see and do there.
What I Done:
- St. George's Market - Free Entry / Open weekends. Food, drink, arts and crafts stalls.
- Belfast City Hall - Free entry / Guided tours available (at certain time) / open 7 days a week, check on website for further information
- Hop On Hop Off Bus Tour - £10. / 7 days a week
- Game of Thrones Exhibition - £17.50 / 7 days a week / Running until mid September
- Queen's University Belfast
- Ulster Museum - Free entry / Open 7 days a week
So much more I want to see and do. On a previous trip I done
- The Black Cab tour
- Game of Thrones bus tour
- 7 Course Tasting in Epic Deane
- Stayed in The Merchant Hotel (It's AMAZING)
- Stayed in The Galgorm Hotel.

Great video. I've just booked an impromptu trip for next weekend (1 night) just for Game of Thrones and am so excited!! Am trying to look up some hotspots for my last day as my flight home isn't until 9pm so I have at least 7 hours to kill in the Centre of town. Any recommendations?

Stefy Hey Stephanie, thanks so much! The Game of Thrones exhibition was a bit of fun and a must for any fan fanatics 😊 I’ve sent you over an email with some ideas for you. Maybe check your junk mail in case it goes to that folder. Enjoy your trip 💚

Do you class Northern Ireland as part of your country or the UK? Nd can Irish people (Republic) travel to Northern Ireland freely? Like without any visa or passport checks xx

I would personally consider NI as part of the UK solely due to the different currencies, ruling and laws etc, but I also think it is a huge part of Ireland due to some of the people and history etc, it is a bit complicated one. With regards to traveling to NI, until recently the UK has been part of the EU and travel could be done freely to and from, but since Brexit, I think there might be a stricter travel with boarder, not sure how it will fair out with people travelling via public transport. This has actually all happened during Coronavirus so I have yet to see what is put in place, but I have had customers and friends travel up north and have yet to hear any changes or complaints regarding traveling to Northern Ireland from the republic 🙂 I hope that all helps 💚

@@perfectirishtrip Yes it does. I'm from England. Just wanted to hear an Irish perspective on the matter. I think majority of Northern Ireland feel more connected to the UK and British identity. I might be wrong but that's what I could gather from online and talking to a few Northern Irish people x
