Saw this video and decided to go with two friends on a whim ... we were blown away. Flavor profile was absolutely divine. We did everything tapas style - mandocas, hallaca, a tomato dish, bollitos, and a few desserts - and every single dish was a hit. Can't recommend it enough
I love this. "I was thinking rum and peach," "I don't like the color combo..." "ok you choose" "so we're gonna do rum and peach!"

As a Venezuelan, I’m extremely proud of them! It makes me happy to see some positive representation around the world. I really wish I could visit their restaurant, everything seems so delicious and similar to the food in our country but with a fancier twist :))

We in the US are so lucky to have such a selection of diverse and ethnic restaurants. The food scene is terrific especially in New York.

It’s because the US is the closest most developed nation to South American nations. The US dollar holds value all over the world so naturally people want to emigrate there. I find the prices too rich at this spot but then again, its no hole in the wall either which is usually what I prefer if I’m trying a new culture’s food.
Love the family dinner! Based on the look on the mom's face, he SO didn't remind her cameras would be there that day! lol.

As a venezuelan being in Venezuela right now, oh man! i wish i had the chance to try all of this but on the other hand, empanadas, hallacas, arepas and so, are my daily dosis of divineness :D thank you so much for the exposure. Beatuuuuutiful business and family!

Because a lot of restaurants get set up, and a lot fail, 1 in 3 doesn't get past their first year. So if they do succeed, it's because they know what they're doing.

Ate there when I visited a friend during the winter, absolutely incredible food (and cocktails).
I hope to eat here one day. Wow! I am Venezuelan on my mom’s side. My siblings have been to Venezuela, met the family there and speak Spanish but not me. A few years ago I decided to learn more about Venezuela by teaching myself how to cook empanadas, pabellón criollo, hallacas, and cachapas. And the food really makes me feel closer. My sister also makes pan de jamón to go with the hallacas for Christmas and my best friend (who isn’t Venezuelan) found a Venezuelan cookie recipe, polvorosas cookies, for us to have a full on Venezuelan Christmas. I used to not care for Christmas but I am already excited for that yummy food!

As a Puerto Rican, I find Venezuelan cuisine and culture to be very similar to Puerto Rican's. We have hallacas too but we call them 'pasteles en hoja' and we also have our own version of arepas. Even our Spanish accents sound a bit similar. This restaurant being located in Ave Puerto Rico seems very apt!
