Exploring New York City's Hidden Culinary Gems: Cooking Goat Brains, Lobster & MORE | DIRT Episode 4
bit.ly/3SkySvz | More on DIRT
New. York. City. That’s where our host Josh Rosen kicks off his journey in Episode 4-and where he lived for 16 years and started up the surf-centric apparel brand, Saturdays NYC. Back in his old stomping grounds, Josh first meets up with the award-winning chef and Mumbai native, Chintan Pandya, currently blowing up the New York food scene with his unapologetic and authentic Indian cuisine (pro tip: try the goat brains). Next, Josh travels through the boroughs, heads upstate, and along the coast to source local ingredients-from sake brewers and pig farmers to catching fresh lobster just 100 miles from Wall Street. As always the adventure will end with a feast, right back in Chintan’s kitchen.

Bourdain would be proud and I enjoyed this very much.
None of the documentary I've seen of NY is that deep and inspiring.
Don't want to preach to the choir, but my lord, this series is beyond magnificent, positive and inspiring. Can't get enough and always look forward to the next episode. Thanks for the hard work you put into making me smile and reminisce. I've visited some of these places from this series and these episodes really take me back and bring back the magic, refresh all those memories that get lost somewhere in everyday life. Love you for this, guys!
Reminds me of Parts Unknown from Anthony Bourdain somehow! Please keep making those! We love to see more!
Wow. That was the coziest thing I've seen in years. Something so soothing about seeing a video that is just so simply about food, adventure, community, whimsy, and living well.

Shopping in the Union Square Farmers Market was something I used to look forward on my days off. It was also always fun to hangout at the Saturday NYC shop. I will never forget that one sunny day when the barista gave me a free cup of flat white prepared with La Colombe beans.
this series gives me life. Thank you for doing this, truly soul lifting work and so necessary to build community in this way.

This is awesome. impossible to watch this without a smile stamped on my face the entire time. this is a great piece of art in storytelling and cinematography around cooking, farming, fishing. and harvesting in such a celebratory way. No fluff, no ego, no politics. just living and appreciating life. well done.
I have no idea how this popped up in my recommended videos, but wow! This is my new favorite series. I went to NYC for the first time about 6 months ago, and watching this makes me want to hop on a plane and go back again! Very well done production work here. Keep up the amazing videos!

Born and raised in nyc and still so much to discover. No place like NY truly
Another timeless classic
What a great capture of NYC and State. Great people, amazing food and well documented. Roll it!
DIRT is AWESOME! One of the best shows on television. Episode 6: Alaska...brilliant!
Thank you Josh and Huckberry for this series! Each episode is better than the last, and that's saying a lot because they have all been absolutely fantastic. After 4 episodes I feel like I know Josh and I think that just shows how personable these episodes are, not only with the host but also the producers featured. Keep 'em coming!
Incredible to see so many passionate fellas keeping their traditions alive. This was a real uplift!
There’s no place like my NYC LOVE YOU NYC!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This was really well done! And great to watch. Good stuff to everyone who worked on this.
Wow, what a heartwarming film. I can feel the love and also appreciate how much work went into this one. Sometimes it's hard to zoom out and see the natural bounty of the city when it feels so industrial and nature is not so obvious to find. Thanks! I am a new immigrant in the city, so I hope I feel like this when it's my time to leave.
Man I love coming back to this video every now and then!!! One of the best
One of the best movies about NYC I have ever seen, thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am far away from New York in another side of the world. This video is teaching me a lot and I feel very warm with New York
Awesome. Smiled the whole way through.
I could literally watch these all day. Such good quality and vibes!

Thoroughly enjoyed this - so much diversity and intrigue packed into a mere 25 minutes. Thank you for producing this!
Wow, wow, wow. Brilliant. Made me fall deeper into my loveliest NYC
I'm ready for the 90 minute director's cut.
So refreshing, thanks y'all. And could you post the playlists to these?
I've rocked Saturdays. The hats are cool
This is truly an inspiring series - dedicated to the communities and people that make the places so special, but also running at the end of the day to sneek a little cliff dive in. Just amzing stuff! Keep it up!
THIS IS AN INSANELY great episode. So so well produced, directed, and edited. This is pure GOLD!
Thank you for producing such a beautiful love filled view of NY and the surrounding area. Amazing presentation. That it what you call peeling the onion. Just awesome.
Love this series.
I love that record shop in Red Hook!
Reminds me of the Big Apple ❤❤❤ Thanks.
Beautiful man. NY is the only place when I leave I feel a sense of sadness and longing for a little while as I'm pretty sure I've lived there once or twice before. This video illustrates great examples of what New York is and there's many reasons why NY is such a unique place but imo, it's the people that make it a truly special place Thank you for making these vids, you have a new fan/sub in me. :)
I look forward to new episodes of DIRT, and this one did not disappoint. I fell in love with the NOLA episode, went back and watched the episode 1 afterward, and I've been a fan ever since. Also, Josh Rosen is my grown man spirit animal.
This is pure 2015 core, the fixed gear bike, the style of the graphics, the vibe of this kind of food video all feels so nostalgic
I clicked on this not knowing it was about Saturdays. I discovered this place about 5 years ago when I was living in NYC and felt homesick. I wanted a secluded little area to drink coffee and relax and somehow found the backyard area of Saturdays. Whenever I visit the city I always stop here or at least walk by. I even love the location and just walking around this area makes me feel nostalgic
thanks KZread for putting this on my recommended / feed, some superb travel content fr 🤝🤌 !
I love these kinds of videos🤌🏻
Really enjoy and loves your video, thankyou!
New York definitely is a capital of the world

Lighthouse/crosswalk shot….classic and classy.
AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! MAKES ME WANNA TRAVEL, GO ON ADVENTURES AND EAT QUALITY FOOD! IVE NEVER SEEN NY LIKE THIS ON A SHOW!
Is it just me or is there a little Anthony Bourdain in the voice over monologue? Something special in the storytelling.
Very neat, keep it up. Love the passion
these are beautiful story. so beautiful
As a New Yorker, I approve! @Huckberry what was the name of the song played around the 21 minute mark??
