I’m gonna try Vicky’s cornbread tomorrow. Yes, I wish more people talked about our loved ones who’ve impacted our life. We love and miss, grieve for them and remember the joy and love they brought into our lives. 💛✨

You are so sweet even when you're feeling a little blah or tired or unsettled. You're making so much progress. Things look great and are moving right along. If i can come up with 4-5 dinner meals for the week i feel accomplished. It's hard to always think of the things and have all the ingredients, i feel ya!

I get those days too. Seems like when I have a bunch of days cooking like crazy, I get like that. Sometimes a peice of toasted bread with gravy, tuna and cheese. Thank you for being so real and having an impact on our lives. ❤

Val, those potatoes look delicious. I grew up eating beans and potatoes a couple of times a week and my husband had beans almost everyday, even Thanksgiving, which I found so strange but hey, you like what you like. Does beans with a ham bone count as a veggie meal? Haha. Absolutely love your kitchen, and that island, oh my.

I see my grandmothers hands and miss all my loved ones. Im the oldest now and hopefully not soon but soon enough ill be with them waiting for the rest.

We eat a veggie meals two-three times a week. My husband loves potatoes any way he can get them…if we don’t have them we have tomatoes and macaroni as the starch.

Yes snap I have days when I say what to cook/eat. Made quiche today as bacon and eggs with one tomato. Turned out nice. As you say go with what you have. I’m doing that a lot. Surprised what you can dish up with what’s in house. 😊😊 glad to see your video.
