Not sure if this tech came with ios 1.5 but copying patterns is even easier. Just hold pattern AND the pattern you want to copy (doesn't have to be active) and the copy button, then hold pattern and the destination trig and hold paste, it will count down to give you a chance to backout. This is the only way to duplicate/move patterns while you are also playing live. Often what i will do is copy my pattern when it is sounding like a solid idea and paste it somewhere else but continue to develop the same pattern i'm on until it changes enough that i paste it somewhere else again. It's a great workflow, you basically get backup timestamps of your groove.

I think that the count down copy has a available for a long time. At least it was there in version 1.30 but I was always too impatient to wait for the count down. I didn't know that it works while your pattern is playing though, that's pretty cool thank you.

It's a reasonable guess, but I'm afraid that it's not right. I'm just really bad at dusting.

Is there a way to copy a track 1 with all of it's trigs, sample and all other settings ( SRC, FLTR, AMP etc), into track 2?

Hey @herrNihil, yes there is, but I'm pretty sure that you need to do it in two stages. Stage 1, copy the sound over. Track + Copy, Select new track, Track + Paste Stage 2, copy the trigs and p-locks over Enter grid mode (Press REC button), Func + Copy, Select new track, Func + Paste I've just noticed that I've called the same button two different names 🤦♀️ REC/Copy is the same button

Page + Copy = copy the trigs from the page you're looking at, then go to another page and Page + Paste will paste your trigs there!🎧

Somebody pls help, when i try to copy a pattern it keeps saying "copy track" instead of "copy pattern", i did everything exactly as shown here (Bank>pattern>func+record), what could be the reason for this? Edit: I'm a dumbass, i was in record mode. Maybe if i paid attention to this video i wouldve caught that when you literally said it lol

I'm glad to hear that you figured it out. Some of the subtle differences in copying can be annoying before you get used to them all.
