A chaotic stroll at a French Christmas market (Beaulieu-sous-la-Roche)

Today we briefly visited the yearly Christmas market in Beaulieu-sous-la-Roche. With more than 15000 visitors each year it is the biggest one in our area and it also has a rather fun feature called the 'vitrines animées', where many of the store fronts show a moving animation. We were only there for an hour or so and it was packed to say the least, so I struggled making both video and taking photographs. But it was a good practise and one I am definitely not used to. :)

Always love to see the celebration of Christmas around the world. As thanks for a wonder walk and the annimation displays. As I can understand the struggles of dealing with crowds as it used to be nice to visit and make these strolls. We used to even have rides at night through neighborhoods to see the decorations of homes and all they do but it get so bad with traffic jams in the neightborhoods and even some have to police to keep the traffic moving because there are so many people. Sad to see sometimes as the kids can't enjoy things as when I grew up because it more like compitions between neighbors and more commerical than the joys of Christmas. Love the video journey and hope maybe you got to enjoy it some things in the time you had in the market. Be safe and keep warm lovely Els.
