A Bulgarian Dentists, Dinner and The Happy People of Varna 🇧🇬
Join me on this glorious day out in Varna Bulgaria,
As we stroll around the streets of Varna, we meet its happy people who are more that eager to tell us about their country and their magnificent city.
Bulgaria is famous for having some amazing dentists and some of the lowest prices for dental treatment. Let me show you what a Varna dentist's office looks like as I go for my biannual cleaning.
Let's end the day with a relaxing dinner in the heart of Varna, and let see what amazing value Bulgaria still is for visitors.
Lets discover extraordinary Varna together!
If you enjoy adventure videos from the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, then grab your vodka, some zakusky and join me as we explore the Truly extraordinary city of Varna in Bulgaria.

To fix my front teeth in Australia would cost $12,000. I did some research and in Bulgaria the whole trip including the return flight, accommodation, spending money and the dental works out to about $7,000 ($2,000) for the dental.

Thank you for the interesting video. At 12:38 minutes, when you asked the woman “Hello, how are you?” in English, she answered in Bulgarian: “Бива”, which means, roughly, “I’m ok” (it’s closer to the French “ça va”) and it’s neither her name nor “пиво”. “Бива” is a form of the verb “to be”. In Bulgarian the verb “to be” is: “съм” or “бивам”. Sometimes one might receive, to the same question (“How are you?”) the answer: “Става” which is an equivalent of “бива”, in this context, and both are at the same grade of the scale of optimism. The answer: “Благодаря, добре съм” or just: “Добре съм” is the equivalent of “O.K.” or “all correct”.

I know what u mean about sour cream. In Singapore, fruits used to be affordable. There wasn't much variety, but they were affordable to buy anytime, the usual apples, oranges, papayas, watermelons, bananas. Then came more variety from international brands & a bit more variety, more foreign residents. Then it is now impossible to buy even apples because it is now too expensive & only rich people can afford it. So from fruits everyday to no fruits anymore. That's just 1 aspect of the living condition or quality of life.

I think when you travel as much as I do and communicate in many languages, you make it as simple as possible if communicating in a language that is not native to people and you sense they struggle with it. Also not all languages translate word for word, or is the syntax the same. Either way I try to be polite and respectful with everyone. Now try and comment something nice 😉
