@@blanchekonieczka9935 Calm down! She's playing with them & teaching them balance. They are babies & a few weeks old. Karen was adopted as a rescue that had been abused. She is fine with her husband. They got Stanley as a chick hoping he would calm Karen down but it didn't work. Most, if not all, of the animals on the farm are rescues. You are insinuating that she teases them & mistreats them & that's why some attack her & you couldn't be further from the truth!!

@Angel-002 thank you! The chicks didn't seem to like it so I got a little over protective. They're so sweet. Poor Karen! Wonder if it was a woman who abused her? My oldest son has a rescue dog that was abused by a woman and she didn't like his wife for many years. She was stand offish with me until she smelled me, then we were friends. God bless her for rescuing Karen and putting up with her violence!

Like so many babies, the tiny emus have markings that visually convey their babyhood and need to be coddled. It would be interesting to see how Karen reacted if you wore a baby emu costume.

The extent of involvement in the prodigy from the female emu ends with her laying the eggs - once that is done she takes off with no further association with the offspring. The male sits on/ hatches the eggs and rears the chicks.

Adorable!! In emu world, the father is the care taker, and not mum. About a 30min drive from where I live, you can see the dad emus all gathered together with their little ones in the bush. It is a lot of fun watching them. Thank you for another fun video, they never cease to make me smile!!!
