I'm subbed to Useless Farm, and I honestly had no idea this was in Canada. Amanda screams Jersey Girl to me, I'm honestly surprised. I bet they're transplants from the U.S.A

Everyone has problems, even animals but what's interesting here are the different personalities they have. Plus, I think the smile factor here is very important because it also fosters a unique sense of compassion. 🙂

The Farm has made me laugh and smile a thousand times. Thank you.

Keep checking in w/Amanda & all the other L'il Rascals down on the UF. "Even I", have come to appreciate the easy going participants (Karen & Brad not), the simple, straightforward routine, the idiosyncratic natures of the herd members. Hats off to the heart & soul of Useless Farm! Amanda & Co.

What does TikTok have regarding Useless Farm that this channel doesn't?

I'm a Cattleman from way back. We raised Charolais -purebred & full French. The quality of animal husbandry is measured in love and respect. I had more laughs & more fun on the family farm than anywhere else. I miss the work too, it made for the best sleep.

Love this. This is so common out in Langley farm areas in BC. Even the residential homes in Langley nearly every single neighbour had emu’s, donkeys, chickens just complete zoo’s lol it’s awesome! I wish we could have backyard chickens here in Calgary. Legit miss that about mainland lol you could live in Vancouver and have chickens in your yard with no problems. Less regulations. Infact you can rent chickens for 6 months to see if you want to commit to having them in Vancouver.

The amount of neglected and abandoned chickens in cities that allow them isn’t acceptable. chicken only lay for a third of their life and people don’t know that.

@@M_SC yeah I never seen or heard of that being an issue out on mainland lol. Chicken gets eaten. Or people continue to have them as pets, laying eggs is not the only thing useful about chickens. They’re extremely beneficial to your garden, especially on mainland where the winters are short and growing season much longer. They fertilize your crops and take care of pests.
