    I love blue but I think I'm more of a silver or red, titanium maybe? I seen a sick root beer colored one brand new in the lot. That color looked so nice!

    I would go for clear tail lights and silver wheels, but yours is still best looking 991 GT3 I've seen

    Matt Moreman Can't you powder coat the wheels black? My wheels will be the same as yours. I also wanted black and was told I could get them coated. Will a powder coat properly adhere to the finish that comes on your wheels? I certainly wouldn't want to mess them up and end up buying new wheels.

    ERIC DAVIS Yeah, I may do that at some point. There is a chipping issue with the Satin finish on the GT3. I'm guessing Porsche is going to fix them under warranty at some point.

    Did you buy the wheel/tire insurance through Porsche Oh really, I haven't read that yet. I wonder if porsche will offer a replacement set to all 991 GT3 owners… Be cool to have 2 sets

    So, what drive the front wheel turning. A electric motor on the dyno front wheels.

    ***** It's called a link. The rear wheels drive the front. That basically means there is more loss in the measurement. Our guess is about 25%.

    Matt does this mean we don't need to do the Sharkwerks thing and upgrade the exhaust? Just disconnect the stock exhaust valves and enjoy? I was thinking the Sharkwerks kit and the 80mm tips was an automatic move for my GT3.

    No, you'll still want the Sharkwerks Bypass. It drones much less with the valves disconnected with the bypass and sounds more aggressive.

    ***** The DME will send the car into limp mode if the front wheels aren't moving.

    I like all lot of different types of Porsche named cars. The closest to me owning any Porsche cars is by buying dinky cars like the Hot Wheels brand cars. Or finding pictures in magazines. Or I can use my cellphone camera. 🏳️‍🌈🇨🇦

    jesus luis 475 hp/325ft. tq. The dyno is reading the hp at the wheels. There is about 25% loss due to the car having to drive the front wheels.

    ***** It is RWD, but the car goes limp if the front wheels aren't rolling.

    I'm surprised it only makes 380whp? I'm guessing a 20% drivetrain loss which gives you less than 460bhp. I have a 991 GT3 as well and it felt much stronger than 380whp when I was at sea level. I just moved to Denver though and thats a different story. I'm lucky if I'm making 420bhp here! :(

    I agree the 991 GT3 is making way more than 380 WHP. I would guess it is closer to 430 WHP. Remember the 991 needs to have the front wheels rolling. The Dyno Jet uses a link that allows the rear wheels to drive the front in tandem, so we are guessing a much higher correction factor would be needed. I wasn't particularly concerned about the peak HP reading. I just wanted to be able to compare back-to-back what happens when the valves are disconnected and if the PSE button did anything to timing or fuel delivery.

    actually if you assume a 20% drivetrain loss then 380whp would mean 475bhp so if you factor in the fact the front wheels need to be rolling then peak hp is actually closer to 500bhp makes sense since porche are notorious for lowballing hp and torque numbers

    Matt Moreman Hi Matt, What do you mean the front wheels need to be rolling? I could see "The car needs to be moving" for the intake air pressure/volume. Is this what you mean? I'm confused why the front wheels would need to move. As a personal side note, I'm enjoying the videos. a 991 GT3 has been my muse/goal for the last few months to finally get out of the hole I've been in for a couple of years now. And it's working! PB&J every day is no longer depressing, it's a means to that goal and the thought of pushing that thing in the hills near here are helping me stay motivated 15 hours a day 7 days a week on my startup. The videos of your gorgeous car are a big part of that. Thanks!
