I'm shocked that no one has commented before me. I love your analyses of OEM high performance muffler systems. IMHO, your focus on them shows how seriously you take your business.
Very interesting. I watched your video on the standard Carrera exhaust and assumed a GT3 design would be significantly less restrictive, but in reality it doesn't seem massively different!

Ordered my headers for my .1RS looking forward to getting them.
I'm just having Fabspeed headers fitted on my 997.1 GT3 as we speak and I'm excited to hear the difference in noise. Just hoping she doesn't drone too badly. Great video though.

are 997 and 991 center mufflers interchangeable?

On the GT3s they are yes
Hey dear friends at Fabspeed! Is there enough clearance to retrofit a GT3 center-mount muffler to a 987.1 Cayman (or Boxster)? I think that would be a fab mod!!

It's possible but would require some significant fabrication work.
