The views are nice, it's a fine place to live, but it's not even close to the quality of life in USA.

I'm also in this age and have about the same money 😀but if I'm doing this ,I just marry a Thai wife and we can build or get a house in local Beach or Village, for local people to buy or get a house , outside of Bangkok or Pattaya, only cost them around 20000 USD for a two story big house@cbear4207

Yes...that's the one that makes all the difference..... the 49 m2 would cost around 136,000 USD, but certainly worth it...but after looking at the joined services and palatial effect.... hmmm.... monthly fees are going to be in the thousands by looks!

She has added the HOA into the information above. 50 baht ($1.39American) per square meter. So at roughly 40 square meters x 1.39 = approximately $56 US per month. Given that I currently pay $742. that sounds very reasonable.

Air on can be a big cost, so you will be running electricity off your own meter. For rentals, this is added on from your meter reading.

What are the building standards?? Any backup generators? Internet speeds?? Building secure access and a security provided?? How far from the nearest International Airport??

The building standards are much lower than in the US or Central Europe. And definitely no backup electric generators. That's why they are relatively cheap.

For this kind of premium it is better than Hawai’i condo. I’m saying this as someone who owns properties in both Hawaii and Thailand. It is easier for cheaper countries to implement all necessary systems for a standard housing.

Yes very nice! As someone else asked... What are the monthly association fees? And... What kind of parking space do you get? Are there any convenience stores - 7/11, Lotus Express, Mini C, or open air markets to buy food nearby? Within walking distance would be best.
