The hardest turn in ballet. For example the ballerina who plays Odette/Odile in Swan Lake is required to do 32 fouettes and it is considered incredibly difficult and this girl did 96 of them. Ballet is the most intimidating dance. With other dance styles, your classmates hype you up and there's a lot of cheering and support. With ballet...you can do 96 fouettes and no one is clapping, and the teacher critiques in the end. I can imagine it is mentally straining and makes you have perfectionism issues.

For those who don’t know ballet, 96 FOUETTÉS IS CRAZY. The “common” or perfect amount is usually considered 32. Even 32 is difficult to do. The amount of calf strength, her ability to stay centered and balanced, and not get dizzy is mind blowing. I am a dancer and I can tell you, someone is really good if they can even do 20 fouettés. 96 is out of this world

Probably not- As a ballet dancer they're tired from those fouettes. I've done 2-3 years of training and I haven't perfected my turns yet. I'm pretty sure they are amazed by that..

Itzel Hinojosa The purpose of ballet isn’t to compete for entretainment. People go watch soccer to see their team win, not to see dudes chasing a ball. People go watch a ballet performance. That there are dance competitions and we ballerinas are competitive doesn’t mean it is considered a sport.

just so you know we (as in dancers) don't get dizzy because we do a thing called "spotting" its where you spot a point on a wall and come back to it, you turn your head super quick so you can find the spot again, its a little difficult at first but its really easy to get used to, idk if you were making a joke or not but just to let you know :)

Bruh that's the most annoying thing in the world... It happens apparently when you're sitting or lying down too much and all your blood goes to your legs and takes a bit to pump back to your head and it's supposed to help of you clench your leg muscles when standing up but I always forget until it happens and then I'm just standing there like NOT AGAIN
