Loves Osipova here for her turns sync with music. I am not a big fan of showing off doubles or triples with the sacrifice of musicality.

you will see ballet dancers when they pirouette the spot (meaning the keep their eyes on one spot and whip their head round to that exact spot to her them spin) it prevents them from getting dizzy, you can also see in the fouette that they whip their leg around and many think that is what gets them around but it does not, its actually the whipping arm movement along with the spotting of the head that helps them turn - speaking as a ballet dancer myself :)

yknow, if they attached things to act as kind of a parachute on their legs and maybe arms, and then fouette really fast through the air they could glide down ever so gracefully, atleast i think so

It's almost unfair to put Somova after Rojo and Osipova lols. Rojo is an amazing turner; here she really outdoes the well known Black Swan with Gillian Murphy alternating singles and triples. I'm not sure I've even seen Osipova or Nunez alternate doubles and triples. Thx for posting! EDit: Is there a name for the turn Ines Mcintosh does where she does essentially a fouette but doesn't come down from pointe? It's really cool. Also, I guess Rojo is doing single, double, triple, so a reordering of that sequence I've seen Selenko do that's single, triple, double, which I think takes more control.

excuse me?! just out of curiosity have you ever done ballet before and if not you clearly have no idea how hard it is to turn like that, im assuming you havent done ballet before because if you have you would know how much more difficult those fouettes were in comparison to others as she has her hands on her hips meaning the only thing helping her to turn is her head there. also i would just love to see you try 31 pirouettes(excuse me if i counted them wrong) if you think that is ugly :)

@@bethcassidy2078 😂 fouettés with hands on hips are actually a lot easier for most ballerinas. Just ask one of us. And yes I have and still do plenty of fouettés.
