Oh, so you don't jump onto pointe, you jump and _pull_ the toes underneath you.... good to know...

For those who don’t know ballet, 96 FOUETTÉS IS CRAZY. The “common” or perfect amount is usually considered 32. Even 32 is difficult to do. The amount of calf strength, her ability to stay centered and balanced, and not get dizzy is mind blowing. I am a dancer and I can tell you, someone is really good if they can even do 20 fouettés. 96 is out of this world

Since no one else will say it, yes, this is far from an amazing feat, but I don't think everyone understands the difference between 96 fouettes and 96 turns. She only did about 76 fouettes. Which is still, like, record breaking or something, and an achievement of someone obviously great. My autistic ass simply can't just not say anything though

That was very impressive, but I will say you can see towards the end, her getting exhausted and tilting off balance on her supporting leg by the way she travels on the floor. Still really good!

the end is so fucking sad and explains perfectly ballet… she did fouettés with double turns, she did the ones when you change focal point TWICE, she didn’t even moved around so much (i would have fallen off the stage after 10 fouettés) and she did them mostly on tempo, also she seems pretty young… in these cases it doesn’t matter all that “discipline” sh t, she deserved a fucking applause from everyone in that room

The teacher should have had a bigger reaction. As someone who has done ballet before, I know how hard it is to even do 15, let alone 90. The teacher should give her some praise.
