99% id estimate cuz its a low 10second car but exactly! awesome build and awesome use of best parts for each benefit like he said he didnt want close ratio so he did the tremec thats a good point with allot of power and boost you dont need close ratios allot of time you waste more time shifting than just letting it wind thru a longer gear especially with 900+hp even if you get 700 or 800 rpm further drop per gear change with that wider ratio you still have plenty power at that rpm. smart design and build

and now I'm thinking I may just stick with my KA... holy balls this is insane!

Impressive stuff! Fully built KA's are a rare sight. Also that's one clean 240.

I went ka-t back in 2001 and never looked back ... Its 2017 and she still looks sexy in the garage :-) 462 whp 411 tq on 22lbs

I know If I ever bought a 240SX S14, I'd most definitely stay KA especially with the bigger displacement and already coming inside the car from factory.. plus I just am oddly attracted to the KA24DE more than an SR20DET

Mr. Untouchable I like the KA, don’t get me wrong, the SR is superior in probably every way- except it’s more expensive in the US. I just think it’s funny you’re here propagating the SR vs KA debate, a tale as old as time. This is fun for me, because it’s so easy to ruffle feathers on the internet. Also- where’s the video about your engine on a popular KZread channel? Where’s your 900hp SR? If it exists, I genuinely want to see it, because I love these cars and engines- both KA, SR, or hell- even the LS, and I wanna hear exhaust notes and blow-off valve noises. But if it doesn’t exist, just stop typing, pwetty pwetty pwease, because my “feewings” are hurt. Thanks in advance again for not hurting my poor widdle feewings anymore than you already have. CK_32 actually I used to drive a 450 whp evo and having buckets in that car is so useful I used to drive other cars without buckets and I can attest that they are very useful during cornering regardless of hp. Spirited street driving with buckets and without is a big difference in enjoyment.

The stock s14 seats are pretty comfy though lol. I tossed my stock s13 ones for a pair and trimmed a bit of foam in the driver seat to where it has some 'give' to it but doesn't bottom out and it made it 10x better

Michael Anthony I think the zenki is a clean, timeless design. Its definitely not daring, but it was fitting with Nissan design philosophy of the day. The fact that the Kouki manages to look so good despite only changing the front end attests to this.

Props to Andre for getting featured. He's been in the So Fla scene since the glory days. Never to be underestimated, he's been hurting feelings for years.. Cheers TRC for showing out the ole schoolers ! #DreTuned

I love talking/listening to true KA24 aficionados. I also feel the same way about the 240sx 5-speed trans. KA's don't need close ratios, we need big wide gears! This car is amazing and I hope you keep up the good work!!

This guy is a hero. Not to many guys can do all that work themselves and get the KA to nearly 1000hp let alone people who actually do it. The t56 trans work is amazing. The fact that the interior looks like he picked up a virgin but actually started out in pieces is also amazing.

I love true builds from factory motors instead of 2jz swaps or rb's I respect you're build..💪🏿

Silver Srt It looks like it uses a Nissan auto trans bellhousing so if they make it you could run just about any Nissan engine made :)

Capacitor A long time ago when TRC first started, someone hit me up and ka-t.org how they wanted to film a KA but I didn't feel she was up to par as you can see from the cars they preview. TRC goes to HP Logic which is 5 minutes from my house. Maybe one day when VQ is making four digits, I might make it lol.

I also own a 1995 and have owned it since 2008. Still rockin' the KA and have a SR sitting in my garage. Greddy exhaust manifold with dual magnaflow exhaust pipes. Never slapped on a turbo. Was going to swap in the SR20DET, but the days I wanted to drift are over. I just want to put it in the 450s for HP.

The most perfect 240SX 💪

This thing is so sick. So rare to see a KA built cuz it's so expensive compared to a turbo ready SR. But that iron block handles huge power, totally worth it. Who cares about 8k rpms?

With the prices of sr swaps now, it’s cheaper to build a ka.

Just turbo'd my S14 Ka, but this is next level goals.

Beautifully built car, i love it. Cant wait to see it when he dose the engine swap.

I had a rb25det s14. thats nissan in nissan but from a different nissan lol. Looked way better than this thing but didn't make as much power. ill be doing an update video on it soon

@@philipvillaflor7643 It literally isn't though lol, there are numerous engines that can handle pretty dumb power. No denying when you go north of 700 or thereabouts even those engines don't really like it, but before that point that absolutely isn't true. You can throw money at any engine and make insane power relative to stock, you're ignorant if you don't realize that some engines just don't cost as much to get to similar power increase relative to stock.

WraithDeath I haven't seen a 240sx that doesn't have a sr20 swapped into it but o have never seen any other motor in one from the ones I've seen in person

Nothing but love for this build and chassis, i planned and began on building my s13 hatch...then Murphy's law killed it

This car now is VQ35HR with Single turbo. Awesome

i have close to the same setup with a little bit smaller turbo but not e85. pump gas on 20lbs made 500hp and 450lbf. i was planning on a e85 tune and turning it up. i was shooting for like 750 tho. sick man

That is the speed limiter. I cut a wire going to the ECU (yellow with green?) in my s13 and I could go closer to 130, but then it starts running out of gearing.
