in the movie, jonnie tran was screwed over by a guy that was supposed to source him a few sr20 motors for his s2000. it was getting close to race wars and he still didnt have his sr20 motors, so he accused him of selling them out from under him. since they would be "worth more" close to a big race event. why tran couldnt just get a couple of sr20's himself, we may never know.ECN

I like this guy. He built an nice modest car. It fits his needs. He left dick measuring out the equation and has something special there. On top of that, he's really great behind the camera speaking with Matt. Some guys look like they're brain dead in the passenger seat during one takes and it's super awkward. Lol

I've got a 240 SR20 grip build I'm currently building on my channel :)

This guy really knows his stuff... Always amazes me the amount of knowledge a guy accumulates when he builds his own car rather than purchases it set up or just does bolt-ons.

So glad to see this SX wasn't set up for drift.

Finally!! a 240 that isn't slammed or turned into a drift queen!

Drift is fun but I prefer the old school Brake And Clutch petal breaking and people use too much E Brake the Japanese people who drift in the mountains don’t really use E brake all the time those who can drift with just the brake petal and clutch petal is pure skill of drifting not the E brake which is way to easy also I like to see a Time Attack S14

I love how you get the preview of cars to come when doing the outside shot of the feature car. One of the best parts of the videos

SR20DETs have made over 600whp with a stock block! You can safely take them to around 450/500ish on a stocker, and of course this is with a good tuner!

this is a proper 240, love it

Had to give this one a thumbs up for a cool, knowledgeable owner, not that you haven't had cool owners, and many, if not most of them on One Takes are, but this guy seems to have a sound head about what he's building, approaching, and what he's dealing with, winding up with a really great balance. Such a great platform: RWD, manual, IRS, minimal nanny. I really want one of these in my garage like yesterday.

I'm in new hampshire I'm looking for a 240sx or a clean miata... in nh all cars rot in less than 10 years! so all the old tuners are either beat to the ground or they want 7 grand + for a 240sx(s13,s14,s15) ushally with the ka and not the rb20 ... and 5-6 grand for a miata.. whats the best state that's kinda close to nh to buy a miata or 240sx... I got 5g's

Dream build right here.

I like these cars but was this one is a minor accident of some sort. The front does not seem to line up in terms of the headlights, indicators, bumpers and bonnet. There are all sorts of gaps there. My experience of these cars is limited to the hatch and the JDM saloon version on Hot Version so I am not sure - is the front end normal with all those gaps?

So you found the ONLY dude with a 240 /SR that doesnt drift....

Is Sr really worth doing the swap have friends say Sr’s aren’t worth it plus they are engines that have been heavily beat on but tuning wise is hard but not so sure if that’s true
