Learn something new about the KA24DE engines! Lets chat about them. In this video we visit @dashbuilt to get schooled on KA24DE stuff. He has been drifting a KA engine for more than 10 years in Lone Star Drift Texas events. He has run a single cam setup, a dual cam setup, NA and turbo. Somehow he keeps together a KA with 600 lb of torque, so he probably knows what he is doing!
In the video he also claims he would do it all over again if he has the chance, no V8 LS1 or 2JZ! That was a bit surprising, and a testament to how much he must really love his setup.
Thanks for chatting with us Spencer!

Fun fact: All KAs found in the cars had blocks casted in Japan. All the truck engines were casted in Mexico for the most part

Aaron I have been building these engines and doing this professionally for years and this video makes me really happy. Thank you for doing this and showing all the kids at home what a viable engine and platform these can be.

He said handicap of an engine. If you don't like it cool stick with your LS. Don't hate on it. That's why we have choices and it's personal preference. That's a beast of an engine bro. Mad props 💪

As a owner of a fully built KA-T with a standalone, I approve this video and all the information. Parts and cost are pretty much on point. Great job!

Super glad they mentioned the surge tank upgrade! I've had a KA-T for about a year now and bleeding the cooling system has always been an issue until I installed the swirl tank. Definitely a must do for cooling upgrades.

loved this! deff would like to see more of these types of videos. It helps people understand more about a particular engine instead of car forum hearsay, what works, what doesnt, what it's capable of and all that. 10/10
