Damn, I´m so in love with the Capri and the M1 ♥ Of course the McLaren M8F, Lola, Chevron, 2002, Escort, Opel GT E and so on are great too. Love all these historic racecars
LOVE THEM! That guy driving the Escort is a Wheelman for sure.
Very cool with all the prototypes in the races, I think that made it really cool seeing all the can am cars and goup 6 cars.

That BASF BMW M1 had a rich fuel mixture. 935s were also known for exhaust flames on overrun. @7:05 the Coke-Cola 935K3 displays its flaming exhaust.

Dear IMSA/WEC/Anyone else willing to listen, please make prototypes beautiful again. GTP, GTP Light, GTO and GTU represented some of the best racing I ever saw up close and personal. The cars were just gorgeous!!! They still are.

Still faster and cooler cars than modern ones,gold racing times! 1:10 Its really have 4 exhaust pipes? M1 Pro car is still cool race car but Zakspeed Capri is beast:)

the big middle ones are the actual exhaust pipes, the ones onthe sides are the wastegates of the turbo. when the turbo would be making too much boost, part of the exhaust gasses is diverted by the waste gate, so in a sense those small pipes are exhaust pipes.

yeah the engine will start knocking or will just straight up blow apart because of the pressures

no they don't, at a certain point during an acceleration, the turbo would start to spin so fast that the volume of air forced in the engine is too great, and the boost pressure would exceed the set maximum. to keep the turbo from doing that, they thus divert a part of the exhaust gasses.

surely those 935 K3s are overpowered with their bi turbo flat 6s with about 750bhp
