Am pretty sure beta in video game dev cycle is only for bug correcting, the game features and development is complete at that stage.

Nearly every sim on the market could create a cashcow by creating a full back to the old day dlc including group 5, imsa gtp, c1 or what ever. But instead they all mainly focus on the modern sh*** where the market is oversaturated. Anyway iam glad and happy this mod is going to see the light of the day(although ac is not my preferred sim).

That was an enticing video but it didn't give the information all simmers want: when is the shirt mod coming out?

One of the best mods in rFactor period. It is a real shame the modders decided not to port it to rFactor 2. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Assetto Corsa but it does not compare to the rF2 physics. I hope the developers change their mind eventually. Cheers.

Bring it on...I’ll pay whatever for quality content. I’m not one of those children who expects everything for free cause I’m so used to mom and dad paying for everything. If its full studio quality and something I like I’ll pay whatever with in reason. If it’s high quality and I don’t like the content I won’t buy it. If I like the content but it’s crap quality I won’t buy it. Is that simple people.

Why show the menus and then no actual footage of testing at all but a replay? Felt kind of pointless, howevee good the mod looks

Wanted to give a better view of all the cars and do something a little different. With so many models and such beautiful ones at that, thought outside of car view would be better. I'll do another one soon in car - Paul

I only wish someone would make a stand-alone sim that’s all about Group 5 era all the way to the end of Group C and GTP in the states. Group5, Group C/GTP, DTM, GTO, GTU, Trans AM and early GTS. No cars with driving aids or sequential gear boxes. H-pattern and heal and toe skills required. With tracks also being from those era’s. Although I like modern race cars I equate it to Battlefield 4 and how boring and bland modern shooters have become due to lock on weapons and hi tech gadgets that are designed to keep the soldier as far away from the danger as possible. Great for real life but not sustainable for fun in a game. LMPs and GT3 cars have become a bore to drive. If it wasn’t for mods like this and a few older cars here and there across most titles I would probably have gotten burned out on sim racing and moved on to something else. Bring this DRM mod on. I’ll pay whatever they ask. My only concern is the resolution of the cockpits in VR as that’s the only way I drive.

So, just play a sim that has the cars you mentioned and ignore the cars you don't want to drive. Project Cars 2, Raceroom, and Assetto Corsa (with mods) all work fine for that.
