If a countdown is 3, 2 ,1, go. Why the fuck would a count up go 1, 2, go? What would be the point of even saying three if you leave on three? The only time you leave on three is using honks (and even then technically you leave AFTER the third honk, not on top of). Just use the flashlight method and you'll have a lot less redlighting.

@@user-hc5si5tw5p yea there are a few... air flow, boost, or nitrous. In the coyotes case a ton of air flow, all the motors it runs with are usually over a liter bigger and are at least 60+ cubic inches bigger.

@@ThrottleHavoc in NA engines there is no replacement for displacement in gaining more torque. Also coyotes are bigger physically heavier and have a much worse power to weight ratio and torque to weight ratio. I like them don't get me wrong it's something different but an ls will give better results. Look up the 1100hp LS NA drag racing corvette, truly special, 7.3 v8 revving to 8500rpm. All motor, if u can find me an NA coyote making that much I'll be impressed.

@@user-hc5si5tw5p for sure size is size and yes the coyote physically is a massive engine. I was more so comparing like ls3, ls1, l99, ls2, ls4, and dodges 392, 5.7, & 6.1. When you start talking about bigger engines such as the ls7 and up they just can’t compete. I was comparing it to bigger engines in a sense they keep up well and make more due to the fact they have more cam shafts and superior flow. But don’t mistake that with me saying it can keep up with those massive engines lol i know a n/a ls7 would dog an N/A coyote will always be that way. Anything over a 392 forget about it they just make way too much torque and horsepower. At that point you’d have to seriously lighten up car whatever car the coyote is in for it to even think about trying to compete n/a vs n/a with those bigger engines.

Impressive for a N/A 5.0, that’s all I gotta say...

I just watched that vid. Nice the way that Stang took out the GT-R. Stang was quite a bit lighter and also looked like it had slicks or drag radials. I like this Mustang b/c it's rare to see a V8 that revs to 8600rpms. I am thinking the power band must be nice as well. The vid you shared was cool though.

pullnonyou. And your point? I race on the streets and the track and it's only logical that investing in bottle warmers is more efficient effective and safer than a torch. Not to mention you never have to get out and waste time heating them up. Bottle warmers when activated keep the nitrous at optimal temperature giving you accurate and consistent bottle pressure therefore making it the proper investment. I've spent alot of money on my car as most of these people in these videos but I just can't help but wonder why not invest in that? It blows my mind

The LS and Coyote are evenly matched engines. I've built quite a few different engines, and those two are the most evenly matched. -- I don't really like building coyotes because it's a fiddly process, especially timing and putting the valve locks in. That said, they sound awesome, so that usually makes it worthwhile. -- If I want a lightweight NA deal, the LS is the way to go.

Gotta love that lil screaming coyote. If that engine was in a 2800 lb foxbody it would have been lights out for all those shit vettes.

Honestly, if you sit in a ford or chevy and you then sit in an AMG there is a world of difference. The design, the thought and the execution is far superior in a Mercedes compared to a Ford or Chevy. Ford/Chevy are good for what it is though; cheap thrills and hp for the $ ratio; but if you want luxury, performance and style - there is nothing coming out of a Ford/Chevy plant that can remotely compare to an AMG Mercedes. Even rich Americans know this; hence why you mostly will never see them in a Ford/Chevy. You will see them (i.e. rich Americans) in an AMG or Maybach or something German or European most of the time.

The race against the fbody camaro was a good one!

Best race I’ve seen in a while

This coyote was beast and so was every other car shown here. I used to think all motor was cool but boost is where it is at. I would never waste money on an all motor coyote unless I was cool with like 500 whp tops beyond that it gets really expensive for small gains. Coyotes were developed for boost from the start and do really well on it. GM LS and new LT engines are great as well.

It’s not needed but there’s no point in 8k if you don’t have ported heads cams cj but one thing you do need is springs

kell m WTF are you talking about? A GEN4 Fbody is one of the best platforms for modding that there is, and IMO is a way better looking car than a S550. Much stiffer chassis and far superior suspension design than a old Foxbody/SN95. (I own all 3 platforms) Also one of the most aerodynamic cars there are. There is no surprise whatsoever that a Fcar with a H/C/I LS3 swap can hang with or beating a built N/A Coyote S550 which is a hugely overweight Mustang. Hell a max effort stock bottomend LS1 Fcar should beat or at least hang with this car. A max effort stock bottemend LS1 is a 500+ WHP car for a knowledgeable builder. Maybe even on 93 octane. With equal gearing/tranny/traction/driver advantages a Fbody should walk a S550 HP for HP unless the Mustang has been put on a healthy diet and the Fbody hasn't. If this outcome surprises you and if that Coyote is built then take the LS3 in that Fbody and build it. I'm not talking about just doing topend mods. Throw a 4" or 4.125" crank in it with some good rods and pistons that you'd had made to match up with your topend and run them again and see what happens. The old Fbody platform would really surprise you.
