84 Year Old G John Deere Forgotten In Shed 30+ Years

Will it run!? This 1939 G John Deere belonged to my great grandfather and for a while in the 1940's it was the biggest tractor in our county. I am 18 years old and the 4th generation to run this tractor.
Thanks for watching!
Love and prayers y'all

That old man hollering at his son and grandson when they're trying to start that is priceless. He wanted nothing more than to jump in there and show them how it's done. That made that old man's day to hear that old iron he loves so much fire up again. Respect.

Awesome job guys! I have a 37 B that my dad and grandfather bought in 1960. I still use it every year to mow and disk. Love the old Deere’s.

Sounds pretty good for a tractor that hasn't run in 35 years! Great job!!

Belt start, don't have to hand crank, or pull start. Don't leave the cover on the pully, keeps moisture trapped.

Great job and I love the old stories and oh by the way if that was an ole ford y'all would be in the field pulling not in the shed wrenching. Cheers from Jacksonville Florida 🌞
