You made this? Holy shit dude, nice job! I've recorded only a dozen songs with a band and I gotta wonder how it feels like having something you made up from scratch reach 3.4 million people. That tells me that there's something there, something that speaks to people. Now I don't know anything about anything but to me it seems like you're on the right path, doing what you're supposed to be doing with your life. Keep up the great work man, I wish you the best!

I am probably being cliche here, but as an old man this music simply brings me back to an era where I was free. Free of responsibilities , free of taxes, free of paying bills and free of trying to survive in a world I understand less and less as I grow older. As the World shrinks we feel the burdensome oppression of dark powerful people. In the 80s they were building they're plans, but they hadn't launched them aggressively against us. Oh my God ! Pls don’t make me cry … so true
I was born in the late 60ies. Too young to fully enjoy the 70ies. But what I remember of the 70ies is very nice. Kind of colorful, peaceful, warm. Then, in the 80ies, I 'woke up', was a teenager. Puberty, parties, girls, finished high school successfully with a diploma, started studies at University, etc. And of course the music of the decade. Unforgettable. I felt so free at that time. No responsibility, no worries, no fears. How much that has changed...

When the 90s came after Reagan left, I knew it would ALL be downhill from there, and I was right. As if it needed validation, along came a certain man and promised to make it great again, which we were witnessing started happening. Before it really started getting good and he was coming up for reelection, I told people enjoy him while you can, because when he leaves office it's all just going to go back to pot. What happened? As someone from the 80's, I'd like to comment on the grainy/glitchy effect that is so often added to videos and images representing the 80's. I can tell you that back then, our TV shows were absolutely sharp, clear, and free from defects when watching them on TV. Of course, if you recorded them on VHS, then it would be a bit blurrier when playing them back, but it still wouldn't look anything close to the effects people are using today unless there was something seriously wrong with the tracking on the VCR. Anyway, my point is, I just wanted you kiddos to know our shit was sharp and on point.

The 80s were incredible. But how many people remember living as a teen under threat of nuclear war. I lived 40 minutes from a known nuclear target. We were told if something happened we’d get about 25 minutes warning. I’d sit in horticulture and and wonder what I’d do with those 25 minutes. The enigmatic allure of the 80s era resides in its timeless essence, forever casting itself as a beacon of the future. Its vibrant aesthetics, revolutionary technologies, and groundbreaking cultural shifts continue to inspire and shape our vision of what's to come. There's a magnetic quality to the 80s that propels it beyond mere nostalgia-it's a reservoir of creativity and innovation that eternally influences our imagination of what the future holds. Its spirit remains an ever-evolving guide, a testament to the timelessness of its futuristic vision.
THE 80s. A decade so great, Hollywood keeps remaking its movies and rappers keep sampling its music. The 60s and 70s numbs us with brown yellow and orange, then the 80s woke us up with neon lights and the video game, tech boom. The birth of MTV gave us the real “British invasion” introducing us to new wave music, punk, breakdancing and when the king or rock and roll was leaving us, the prince of pop was crowned… The 80s truly was the greatest decade to be alive ❤✌🏼

Thanks a LOT for this man. Not only did you really touch my nostalgia for an era that ended before i was born, but also introduced me to the Miami Vice TV series, which I am absolutely LOVING! Thanks!
Born in 2004, Too early to enjoy our future in space, Too late to live the 80's, Just in tile to bad sad about an era i never felt.
I'm 45 and i was sad about this Time.....The 80" are the best years of my young life with popular TV Show ( A-Team, Miami Vice, StreetHawk, Airwolf, KnightRider, Equalizer.....) and singers/sounds....Now you'll see TV Shows like "Strangers Things"Cobra Kaï" want to "BACK TO THE PAST" (Mc Fly ✌️😜)
I remember working at a grocery store, and hurry to get done to rush home and watch Miami Vice. I didn't even realize how cool of a time it was. Well I did a little...

Hopefully Rockstar tries to include some 80s/Vice City nostalgia.
Truly original times, the music still seems to represent the future.
Watched this series twice from the start. Still watch some random episodes from time to time. Has to be my all-time favorite fictional television series ever. Had the DVD set, met the actor, Edward James Olmos, who played Lt. Martin Castillo in Germany and many other fun stuff! I wasn't born in time to explore the 1980s (born in 1993), but I still vibe out to this kind of stuff! Long live Miami Vice! Greetings to all from Finland.
I was still just a kid in the '80's. I wish I had been born a few years earlier and gotten to experience the greatest decade of all time in my 20's.
such melancholy in this music
By listening to this, I imagine myself driving a red Testarossa and slowly buzzing with the cassette player. Awesome work!

Man, I hope the box still uses the original 80s songs in the show. I was told they replaced the music with some modern trash songs.

Interesting to see modern interpretations of 80s music. Not quite what 80s music sounds like, but definitely gets close sometimes
The 1980s is the best decade in mankind's history. I would give up everything I own today to go back to my 80s childhood.

Still fan of your work, been using it in like every video. Would love to hear more industrial dark cyberpunk style songs! Keep up the great work.

Karl, thank you for what you do. Your stuff is pretty much always the background of my digital sculpting streams, and I sincerely thank and appreciate you for what you do here.
Miami Vice had great music, no doubt about that.
2030s will be wild. 80s+ cyberpunk lets go baby. future arrived finally.

I hope so. We just have to reject the WEF and woke BS. Robotics and AI are inevitable so we have to keep that 80s too!
Sometimes I feel like I'm an old man, always wanting to live with the most simple and somewhat "old" things. I'm always looking for old songs, old stories, old shops,... life is normal and somewhat slow. Likes to read things that take time to understand.

amazing stuff, I listen to this stuff to focus while working. Enjoy the vibe everyone!
This is one of the best sythwave mixes I've heard. Every song is good.
I love the fact that 80s synths are coming back, even in trance music! It's gotten to the point where a close friend of mine is finally getting into New Order. I can't wait until he's done a deep dive, so I can start showing him Cocteau Twins, The Smiths and such!
