DK leveling guide for Cataclysm
In this guide I will go over a few different builds with an emphasis on a strategy for leveling quick while soloing and questing (also can be used for dungeons).
This build requires you to be in 2H frost and have grip and butchery talents with oracle trinkets to supercharge your RP.
If you aren't exalted with the oracles or don't want to be, this build is still terrific, it will just be a little slower. You'll just grip and open with HB, Obliterate, Obliterate, FS, FS hopefully dead at that point. If it's an elite or you can't kill it faster than the above, throw a plague strike in after HB.
If you are boosting a DK, don't fret, you'll struggle a bit at first but Cata green quest gear is very high ilvl, and within a few quests you'll be on par with a 10M ICC Heroic (ish) geared DK.

In general, blood is going to be your best spec leveling from 55-80 because of it's decent damage but very high survivability. Don't let the fact that blood is primarily a tank spec fool you, it's the best leveling spec (unless you have all epic gear, which you probably won't coming out of Archerus)

Why would you take dark succor as a blood tank in dungeons? It completely useless due to frost/uh pres requirements which you never will be in as tank.
Amazing build! Even though it's somewhat covered in the description section, how viable would that be if I have Oracles exalted? Cheers and thanks for making this content! Ah btw offtopic, are you a developer or that Golang name is just a random one? Cheers!

I'm guessing you mean if you aren't exalted with oracles, still very viable! Just use HB and obliterate more. And yes, I am a dev, some of my other alt names are Tmux, Wsaves, Kubernetez, Neovim... ;)
Awesome video man! Lets say you have a boosted DK or one thats not in the most prestigious gear yet. Would this 2H Frost Solo Leveling build still be viable?

Still viable, I added on to the description that in this case start with HB and Plague strike and then go Obliterate - Obliterate - FS - FS. To be totally honest, Cata quest gear is ridiculous, while you might struggle a bit at first you will very quickly gear up (within like 5 or 6 quests in Hyjal). Cata quest gear is ilvl 259 I believe, so you'll be almost on par with a heroic 10M ICC epic geared DK.
Sick frost build. How strong Blood could be in comparison to Frost if Im not exalted with the oracles?

Blood is still a great leveling build, at 80 it's not quite as fast, I personally would still go 2H frost even without the oracle trinkets but blood is good for survivability.
Im assuming you have Rune of the Fallen Crusader on the two hander?
