It is actually such a fun expansion-- best raids we've seen so far and the quest content is actually fun and engaging. I understand people who don't like it, but I don't agree

Too bad you have to play with 30+ year olds that failed in life and take a video game way too seriously. This singlehandedly makes no expansion worth playing, have fun listening to some neckbeard loser telling you what to do and playing the boss over you 3 days a week atleast lmao.

Really nice video for people who are running for realm first - pre raid preparation! But I have to point out a piece you missed in this video, which is even worse part than archaeology... World boss loot. there will be 5 world boss to loot, each of them have 1 specific drop and they will have a shared drop list. And, the worst part is, the lvl359 epic item they drop, have no substitution in any way in 5 man heroic/BoE/reputation....

I haven't played any of the classic releases but Im thinking about jumping into cata classic. If I started now would that characters progression carry over to cata or would I have to start at lvl 1 when it releases ?

All wotlk realms will progress towards cata. If you level now, your char will be there. Only downside is you now dont have access to new race-class combos, new races, and the world is still pre-shattering now, if that bothers you ofc.

Any place you know of to find a list of pre bis gear specifically for each class? I've been looking and haven't found anything clear enough.

The loon Add on will show you pre raid and each tier bis helped me a ton.

Will we get later a PTR server with instant 85 and dungeon gear to any raid tests? Or we have to level up to 85 right now on beta? What do you think? My guildies and I wants to make some preparation but we don't want to lvl on beta

Most likely not a PTR server, but there should be template 85 characters on the beta for raid testing once we get there.

change for this video is that you wont get valor badges from heroics the first week. so you can only get heroic gear, world bosses 346 gear, crafted epics, and any boe epics.

Valor points will still be available for the first week, it's just that super short period of time between the launch and the weekly reset on Tuesday for US and Wednesday for EU, which won't be applicable for 99.9% of players.

Not a 100% sure since I don't play arms, but prob engi + tailoring/BS. Tailoring sims like 10 dps higher, but BS could pull ahead once we get the new gems.

Depends on what you're doing, but questing 80-83 as 2h frost with 2x exalted Oracles trinkets is so fast. Not sold on frost after 83, but I also didn't have the dark succor glyph on the beta and was struggling mostly with self-sustain.

i heard in 2 weeks season ends.. but what exactly this means i have no clue. also what does it mean when they say prepatch? does this mean still lvl 80 wotlk game but with cata talents and spell mechanics?

@@gliboperuta9213 In previous classic expansions, the pre-patch have released the day after the season ends. And yes, pre-patch is basically Cataclysm, with the level 80-85 content locked. There'll be time-limited events during this patch as well. Usually lasts anything from 2-4 weeks.

Raids just dropped. I'm playing on Firemaw EU. Mandatory ilv: 350+, full xp, items are HR and you get invited only if you are shamy, lock or something they are missing. Alternative: GDKP. Theres nothing in-between. Either be literally perfect in every sense AND play a class they require, or just gtfo to GDKP...

keep coping and seething. sub numbers only dropped from 12m to 9m, besides cata does everything better than wotlk. good and fun raids, heroic dungeons were a million times more engaging than what wotlk had. pvp was absolute banger compared to wotlk. overall cata is just a million times better. only the bad players and dads quit during cata

On the beta I'm using Ahlaundoh's plater profile. If you're a tank I'd add a target weakaura on the frames as well.

@@Lovelyquid bro wow is just a game for me that i play for fun. not a full time job i can devote my entire day for to farm archaeology and farming gold to craft items just to be able to que for dungeons where i can potentially win a roll on an item that is required if you want to be invited to a raid.. doesn't sound very fun to me tbh and way too hardcore for average player.
